It is hard without you elaborating on more of the relationship, but I would assume that it means that he loves you, but there are problems in the relationship that can't be overcome with just love. Was there a problem in the relationship, such as infidelity? They say love conquers all, but what do they know. Sometimes you can love someone with all your heart and not be able to forgive them for something and it will tear you relationship apart. Maybe that is what he meant. And as much as it hurts you must either fix the problem (if it is fixable) or let go and move on. good luck.

It means he's incoherent or won't bother to give you an honest explanation. Assuming it's the latter (I never got involved with anyone who was incoherent), I'd feel angry, betrayed, and confused. A slightly less harsh judgment is that he's lost interest in you and thinks that speaking gibberish is letting you down easy.
And I'm confused how you get to be a top contributor while I have twice as many points and I'm a nobody. How do you manage that?

That would probably suck, but then again I wouldn't know. It might mean that there are other kinds of circumstances such as differences in religious ideology, physical attractiveness, socioeconomic status, etc.....
