From the Biblical assertion that "God is love", through the modern conception as the sex act to a denial that it even exists as an emotion, love means many things. What, apart from the dictionary definition of it, does love deeply mean to you?

Love is so many things, but I believe it includes, although is not limited to, complete and unconditional respect for all things, living or not.
But if one takes the biblical assertion of God is Love, and then combines that with my belief that God is everything, then technically Love is everything, or is that a mixed metaphor?

Love to me is the Biblical definition - unconditional positive regard for particular people that I choose - love is a choice an act of my will.
Sex has very little to do with LOVE. Sex is something that hopefully happens when two people are committed to each other and truly love each other.
1 Corinthians 13
Love is Patient
Love is Kind
Love doesn't delight in evil
Love Rejoices in the truth
Love always protects (see not a charactieristic of a peadophile)
etc...
God is patient

It means that my grandchildren think I'm pretty kewl for at least a few more years. It means that my wife knows that I adore her and I know I have her heart. It means that we're all in this crazy rat race together and should help one another whenever we can and wherever help is needed. It means that we are not alone, that we're connected with others through powerful emotional ties that are tethered to our innermost being.

LOVE is an emotional high.It is a feeling of greatness a feeling that is almost never forgotten.Love help you get through so many things it is a good feeling while it lasts for some it lasts forever and ever...GOD is Love means that God loves unconditionally...and could you please answer my question

Love is emotion mixed with appreciation - both at a divine level. Deep deep deep, and wonderful, and eternal.
When I think of Love I think of it being all powerful.

now a days there is no such thing as love! Get used to it! Child are the only ones who love. If a man tells u that he loves u he only wants ur panties and if a girls tell u that she wants ur money or something else
