my big toe on my right feet has skin peeling off all over and it looks very disgusting. It feels very soft and after work each day when it take off my socks, you can see all the skin scrappin off and all peeled.

What should i do that will help with this problem?
I've read that you could put lotion on them, just wondering if body moisturizer is the same thing? TY

If it is peeling to the point of tenderness, and not just dead skin, you may have athletes foot. Go to the doctor and get treated!

It sounds like you have athletes foot. Get some antifungal cream from pharmacy and use twice daily after washing and throughly drying your feet. Change your socks twice daily aswell if possible this prevents excess moisture and allows it to heal quicker. If possible don't wear the same shoes everyday so they can thoroughly dry out as sweaty shoes are a breeding ground for these infections. Once the infection has cleared and your toes are back to normal, use a cotton bud with some surgical spirit on it, rub in between your toes once a day (this will check any excess moisture and prevent it from happening again) and keep on top of your foot hygiene.

I'm not a Dr. but my best guess would be that when your skin gets wet it gets tender and flakes off easy. Your body is trying to replace the bad skin with healthy skin. I know that if I soak my feet my cuticles and calluses are easier to buff off. Lotion my only address the symptoms and not be a good cure. I suggest keeping your feet dry and getting a pedicure. If it persists after that I'd go see a Dr. because you may have a fungal or other problem.

How weird. You should go see a foot doctor, they'll know what to do.
