Hinduism is a religion.
Buddhism is a philosophy.
Hindus worship various Gods.............
Buddhists work on clearing their minds as Buddha suggested. Only a still mind can pray effectively.
Both are passive.
Buddhists are more outgoing and help societies create
progressive "Unity" within the peoples of these societies.
The spiritual aspect of man is reflected in eastern spirituality.
The physical aspect of man is reflected in western religion.
There will come a time when the two will merge. Rewarding the west with a greater understanding of true spirituality and at the same time eliminating hunger, starvation and unnecessary death as seen in the east today.
"Unity" is what is lacking in the world today.
And the lack of "Unity" shall soon come to an abrupt end.

Nope. They pretty much accept everything from this earth being millions of years old to humans coming out of africa 80,000 years ago and evolution and so on. Christianity think the world is not older then i think 6,000 years old and because Islam is created off the back of Christianity they also have to believe the world was created 6,000 years ago... so no Hinduism and Buddhism are a thousand times more accepting. which maybe the reason why their are more Hindu doctors and surgeons and scientist around the planet then muslim scientist which is pretty much no existent lol

the wastern religion & spirituality is all about being popular, money, politics & taking advantage. there is no depth, no force, no purity or for that matter no fabric left that can be identified as the core of the religious teachings.
the scantity of the eastern religions (buddhism or hinduism) has been maintained through it's active following & the followers beliefs in the system, which make these religions more acceptable, not that politics & money are not trying to influence it.

More passive as in not actively pushing all your wrongdoing to an imaginary entity and having delusion that you will go to an imaginative paradise where you do nothing but singing praises to an imaginative creature for eternally after you had your blame shifted? ..... Yes of course ..... eastern religions normally teaches oneself to be responsibility of one's fault.

Jainism is considered a very non-violent religion. Humanism is another good option.

No. I think pretty much either religion (Abrahamic, Dharmic) would tell you that if you want to water the cattle you pretty much have to move the cattle to the water or dig a well.

Perhaps, but would those solutions work? Are you suggesting we answer terrorist bombings with pacifism? That's just what the terrorists would like. It would indicate to them that we are weak.
