find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

If you are stressed it is going to be very hard to lose weight so i suggest yoga and going to the gym 2-3 times a week. Do not try to eat less because the only slows down your metabolism and if you decide to eat the normal amount for you again you will just gain the weight back and maybe even more.

A lot of overweight people go to the fridge when they are bored so fill your life with more activities. Also most people think they are hungry when they are not so try to have a glass of water before you eat just to make sure, but don't over do it.

Never try the only veggies diet! It is very dangerous because you need every food group. Try to keep track of the food you eat such as only one candybar a month and not less food just healthier food. Try to avoid salt that just holds in your water. The healthier you are inside your body, the more fit you are on the outside of your body, and the more peace you have will all help to make a better in shape YOU!

Proper diet and excercise is the way to go. I would start by boiling any meats you wish to cook... boil for 10 minutes before frying, baking, etc... it's amazing how much of the fat comes off the meat that way so you aren't ingesting it. Eat two to four apples through the course of the day... these are a natural way to boost the metabolism. Drink plenty of water... I recommend a huge glass of water right before eating your meals. And be sure to have more fruits and vegetables in your diet... stay away from the breads, rice, potatoes, and pastas if you can. I always substituted a salad for that so I was still getting enough to eat but it was healthier. And several smaller snacks through the day to fuel your body instead of three large meals for your stomach to work on. This is where the apples came in for me... I'd have toast and coffee for breakfast, apple for snack, chef's salad with very little dressing for lunch, apple for snack, tossed salad and my meat and veggie for supper and an apple for bedtime snack. If I still felt the urge to snack, it was raw veggies. And then I would excercise for 20-30 minutes per day. I dropped 30 pounds in a month this way.

1. Measure yourself

Wrap a tape measure around your waist at your belly button while sucking in.
If you are a man over 35 inches or a woman over 32.5 inches, your health may be at risk.
2. Walk for 30 minutes

"You want to call someone after you walk 30 minutes because that makes you accountable," Roizen suggested.
3. Dump your fridge

Look at the labels of everything in your fridge and throw them out if it contains:
Simple carbohydrates
More than 4 grams of sugar per serving
Any trans fat or saturated fat
Enriched flour instead of whole grain
4. Automate

Eat the same things for breakfast and lunch repeatedly, so you don't have to think about it.
If you want to be creative wait until dinner time.

The surest way to lose weight? Don't eat.

The healthiest way to lose weight? Go on a diet. I've lost weight on a strictly vegetable diet.

Actualy putting a lot of effort into it. A lot of people do miner things in hopes that pounds will just drop off by themselves. You have to work HARD at it, ad for a long time too, eventually it will slowly happen. Diet, and a LOT of excersise. Sweat more calories than you eat in a day and youll be good.

well i'm not an expert but ill try to help.

If you want to burn fat, diet and running should help, also light weight training (lifting weights but with small amounts of weight), that would tone and strengthen your muscles.

hope i've helped a little.
