I would end the No Child Left Behind Act
I would remove troops from Iraq
I would start up programs for alcoholic parents, single poverty parents, obesity, global warming and more
I would require that the school systems in 2008 start teaching the metric system along with our current system starting as soon as pre-school
I would also require the school systems to educate elementary children in a second language

I'd like to in 2016.
anyways I would change how congress deals with issues ( how their is so much corrupt politics.
I would let your average Joe or Suzie run, make it be a race about ideals instead of wallet size.
About platforms depending on each issue i would weigh the decisions as closely as possible and decide what sort of affiliation i have when done.

I would drill the oil in AWAR on behalf of the US people (not as a lease to the oil companies) and sell it on the open oil market. From the proceeds of the sale, I would place all $$$ into the US Treasury and offer Tax Cuts from across the board. From the additional oil revenue I would build state of the Art Nuclear Plants near Yucca Mountain and Hydrogen Producing plants in every state. I would also invest in Fuel Cell Cars and alternative energy sources like Solar and Geothermal. I will use the Current OIL Revenues to get us off of OIL Forever and drown OPEC with their own crude.

First of all I'd wear these cute "power suits" with matching shoes and accesories, I would send felons to the middle east to fight the war, I'd fight for mandatory birth control( in certain situations)I'd pay teachers more money, I'd like to see teachers "paddle" children again, Some higher education would be free, I would make prisons tougher, tougher laws for gang members, clear up the immigration issue, and have grand tea party's with everyone dressed up real purty

If it had to be ONE thing, I guess it would be reducing the cost of higher education. Since a good education enables so many to rise out of poverty, it'd be the first thing I'd do, find a way to make it cheaper or even free for people at the poverty level.

Poverty!!!! With the ammount of money in the U.S.A no one should go hungry!!! I would try to help out more people in this country and get a troops back home!!!
