Oh my Lord ! Quite a horrible picture have they all painted for you. But I can assure you it is not all that grim as it had been painted here. I have noticed only a few people mentioning something with authentic references from the bible here. What everyone else feels is not important, rather truth ! And the truth is that most of the people among Christians themselves are not aware that this is what true Christianity is about ! Believing in One God only and not associating any partners or sons to Him. By denying that there is any son of God you have completed your faith in Christianity and half the way in to Islam already.

Let’s analyze the concept of God. A common feature of all major religions is the belief in universal God or Supreme Divine Authority that is Omnipotent and Omniscient. Followers of all major religions believe that the God they worship is the same God for them as well as for others.

A study of the Christians scriptures reveals that Jesus (pnuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is no single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says. “I am God” or where he says “worship me”. In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. Consider the following statements in the Bible, attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh) :

“My Father is Greater than I” John 14:28
“My Father is Greater than all” John 10:29
“… I cast out devils by the spirit of God … “ Mathew 12:28
“…with the finger of God cast out devils ..” Luke 11:20
“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father, which hath sent me”.

The mission of Jesus Christ (pbuh) – he came to fulfill the law :

Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law. This is clearly evident in the following statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in the Gospel of Mathew:

“ think not that I am come to destroy the law, or prophets, I am nto come to destroy but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandment, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven, but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” -- The Bible – Mathew 5: 17-20

God sent Jesus (pbuh) :

The Bible mentions the prophetic nature of Jesus’ mission in the following verses:
“… and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which has sent me.”
The Bible – John 14:24

“ and this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou has sent.” --- The Bible – John 17:3

Jesus refuted even a remote suggestion of his divinity. Consider the following incident mentioned in the Bible:
“ and behold ! one came and said unto him.” Good master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?” and he said unto him, “why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is GOD: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments”.

The above statements from the Bible refute the Christian dogma of divinity of Jesus and of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus (pbuh). Jesus (pbuh) exhorts keeping the commandments as the means to achieve salvation.

Jesus (pbuh) of Nazareth – a man approved of God:

The following statement from the Bible supports the Islamic belief that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God.
“ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know.”

The first commandment is that God is ONE:

the Bible does not support the Christian belief in trinity at all. One of the scribes once asked Jesus (pbuh) as to which was the first commandment of all, to which Jesus (pbuh) merely repeated what Moses (pbuh) had said, namely:

“Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adna Ikhat”
this is the Hebrew quotation, which means: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.”
Mark 12:29

So it is a misconception among the Christians about Jesus (pbuh) to be the son of God!

Someone quoted here from the bible “ I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me. You would know my Father as well. From now on you do know him” John 14 : 6-7

By saying so Jesus (pbuh) does not mean that he is the son of God, rather he is indicating himself to be the one to be followed. It is only in obeying the commandments he brought from the God that lies the secret to salvation. What he means is that it is only by practicing the way I do that you can discover the truth and the way to salvation. No indication as such that it is only in believing that I am the son of God that you can find peace! So it is a misinterpretation of the bible here.

Secondly it is half the way into Islam. As Muslims also believe in One God, having no partners and sons. As it is mentioned in Qur’an:

“Say: He is Allah, the One and Only. Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.”

Al-Qur'an, 112:1-4

Moreover Jesus (pbuh ) is also a revered figure (a messenger of God) in Islam

Islam is the only non Christian faith, that makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus (pbuh). No Muslim is a Muslim if he does not believe in Jesus (pbuh).
We believe that he was one of the mightiest messengers of Allah.
We believe that he was born miraculously without any male intervention, which many modern day Christians do not believe.
We believe that he gave life to the dead with God’s permission.
We believe that he healed those born blind, and the lepers with God’s permission

The Glorious Qur'an says in the following verse:

"Say: O People of the Book ! Come to common terms as between us and you : That we worship none but Allah : That we associate no partners with him : That we erect not, from among ourselves, Lords and patrons other than Allah. If then they turn back, Say ye : "Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (Bowing to Allah's Will)". Al-Qur'an 3:64

The Qur'an and Sunnah both teach us emphatically and without any doubt that the Creator considers the statement of the Trinity to be a great falsehood. The Qur'an states (translation):

[19:88-93] They say: "(Allah) the Most Merciful has begotten a son!" Indeed you have put forth a thing most monstrous! At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, that they should invoke a son for (Allah) the Most Merciful. For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) the Most Merciful that He should beget a son: Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) the Most Merciful as a servant.

However, the misconception that Jesus is rejected does not follow from the reason given above. It is more precise to say that identifying Jesus as `the Son of God' is rejected. As a Messenger of Allah, Jesus is accorded the same honor that all the Messengers are given, as the following verse attests to (translation),

[2:136] Say (O Muslims): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed to us and that which was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus received, and that which the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have surrendered. [Arabic "Muslimoon"]

Islam states that Allah sent messengers and prophets throughout the ages with the message of the unity of God, and accountability in the hereafter. And Jesus (pbuh) was one of His prophets. It is said in the glorious Qur’an:

“They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah: there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him).”

Al-Qur'an, 9:31

“Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous.”

Al-Qur'an, 36:11

God Almighty has promised generous rewards to those who believe in Him alone and associate no partners and sons to Him, who follow the message sent through His messengers, which was completed in Qur’an – The last and Final Testament of God.

His or her fate will be that they would not be able to enter into the Kingdom of God. Because the only way to the Father is Through the Son.

mmmn. Good question. Well, God says that the only way to him is thru a mediator. The reason is that imperfect humans are sinful and need something to atone for them, to cleanse their way to the Father. The Jews had a temple arrangement set up where animal sacrifices and a priesthood was used to do that. They were the mechanism used by God to cleanse his people to approach him. Later on, Jesus came and fulfilled the Law and became an everlasting sacrifice as brought out by Hebrews, and because of this he became our High Priest and propitiatory sacrifice, always covering over the sins of us. (And for all of you who say that Jehovah's Witnesses dont believe in Jesus, I AM a Jehovah's Witness. Youre wrong in your assumption.) If you choose not to believe in Jesus, then the scriptures say you've denied the path chosen by God for salvation and redemption. But if that's your choice, its yours to make. The Bible says the wages of sin is death. Nothing more, nothing less. We all face that, and its the gift of God thru his Son that will change it. So do some research and see why millions of Christians believe Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of messianic prophesy.

The Hebrews believe in a place called Sheol where they will await the final judgment. They know via fact that Jesus is not the messiah because he was not of the line of David as called for in the Prophesies.

Christians cannot, by training, accept this. They have no proof but have been taught the way of Faith rather than fact.

Their fate would be hell..."I am the way and the truth & the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on you do know him & have seen him" - Jesus (John 14:6-7)
Jesus is the bridge from us to the Father(GOD). There is no other way to heaven.

If you Believe that God is UNJUST then, you better listen to All the Craps Christians tell you.
However, if you believe that God is JUST, our final destiny is based on our belief in the One Almighty God and our Good Actions to mankind rather than someone else offering "himself" as sacrifice to all mankinds' sins, then, live a decent life and help people around you who needs it. Pray to God and ask him to forgive you for the mistakes you've made and believe that He will forgive you.
If He forgives, then, He is God, otherwise, He would be just a normal human like us.
Do I make more sense to you than the Christians?

You'll have to ask God,but as for me, I would not believe in a personal God who is not compassionate enough and "big-souled" enough not to become incarnate as a needy human(but sinless,of course, bien sur.) The Trinity makes sense to me if God is Eternal Love. If He's not Eternal Love I really don't think that god is worth the bother of worship
