Is it true that your god won't save me from death if I don't accept your beliefs..?

Even though I'm a person of good character and morals, will I go to hell, or just not go to heaven, like you will..?

And does your god also selectively bless your country, ..above others..?

Do you purposefully tell your children to believe any of this..?
I can't ignore these and other assertions that your beliefs leave me on a lower rung in consideration without ever knowing me. It's very judgemental ..

Have you ever wondered what this must look like to people who believe, understand, and can repeatedly verify the logic and evidence for their beliefs, which are far more complex explanations than saying "don't really know, but god did it, god can do anything"..?

To me personally it looks, and is, damaging, destructive, and stifles learning abilities, and embraces the concept of bigotry, therefore conflict...

This is just my honest opinion, which as it turns out contains mountains of data and verifiability.
I have yet to see a reply that isn't just dancing around the issue, but this was expected..

So bless yourselves..again!

Concerning my beliefs the bible is clear, "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." It does not matter what I think when it comes to your salvation. It is up to you.

Hi Lets,

God is willing to save anyone from death as long as they believe that Jesus Christ was the Son of God, that he died on the cross to take away your sins. It is not my belief. It is found in John 3:16. If I were to add anything to that message I would be "accursed (Revelations 20). You are not on a lower rung than anybody else. I (as a devout Christian) think of myself as nothing more than an ugly stinking human. God has saved me from my sins. I really don't care much how sophisticated those beliefs seem, they are mine. It does not make me any better than you or any worse than you. You can believe what you choose. You are not on a lower rung. The only way my beliefs can be destructive as if I use them in a ways that seemingly makes myself better than others. If other folks have acted arrogantly because of their belief in Christ, that is something they will be punished for you. Don't label all Christians as the same. God bless you.

No, you shouldn't think you have to accept a person's beliefs to go to heaven. It's God's Word that you need to accept. People can always twist the scriptures to say what they want and just because someone says they're a Christian, doesn't make it so. I would suggest you just read any of the Gospels, or the Book of Romans to find out how to get to heaven. If you believe God then you will find the Way.

God blesses any country that acknowledges Him and honors Him as the true living God. America has done that from the beginning, but is very close to losing His blessing because we have strayed so far from our beginnings.

Of course we teach our children about God and His Word. I don't think anyone particularly is considering anything about you when we teach our children.....as you said , we don't even know you or anything about you. Our beliefs focus on God and what He tells us in His Word. We don't spend our time condeming anyone. Each persons standing with God is between Him and them. It's up to the individual to seek God out and connect with Him. We do tell people how to come to God for salvation. He has comminsioned us to do that. Whether they believe, or accept Jesus as Savior, is strickly their choice. We are just the messenger. God is the judge.

I'm sorry you have been offended in the past, but, I hope from this you realize the only concern we have is to share the way we have found God and received our salvation. It's a matter of wanting you to experience the wonderful security of having Jesus as your Savior.....it's not to judge you at all, but only to share the most wonderful experience of a lifetime. I pray you will not judge us or misunderstand the Christian's purpose in even talking about all this is with the best intent and not to ever seem prideful about it at all. If anything we should be humble because it is nothing we have done to deserve God's love or salvation....it is all by grace we are saved, and that is through faith which comes from God, not ourselves. We can do nothing to save ourselves. God has done it all by sacrificing His precious Son on the cross to redeem us. He paid the punishment for our sins. And we all can benefit from His sacrifice if we so choose. That's what I pray for you and pray you will not find offense in that prayer, but take it as the good intention it is meant to be. God bless you.

Look i don't know what religion that you are talking about but i think you are just trying to stir up sh*t. You probably really don't care if anyone feels that way. I am catholic and many people hate our religion, including yourself. However i could care less what you or anyone else thinks because I believe i am right and you believe you are right, other wise you would not be the religion you are. I have never been told God will shut out people who are not brought up with Christ being their savior and it doesn't really say that any place in our doctrine that i can think of. Yes there are many christian groups that believe they are the only ones who are going to heaven, just as there are Muslims and Jews who hate Christians as well. In fact just the other day i was at the REC center at the University that i go to and a guy was working out and a Muslim man came up to him and ripped a cross off his neck and said "there is no Christ" now do i think badly of Muslims since i saw this one event, or because radicals kill people, no i do not. I realize that every religion has their crazy people because we are human not divine. So to me it looks bad when you go throwing out accusations toward my beliefs because i have never done it toward another religion. Why do i care what anyone else believes, i know what i think is right.

To answer your questions in order...

True. I believe that if you aren't a Christian, God won't save you unless you ask HIm to.

There are many good, moral men who have refused to accept God as their personal Savior. When they died, they went to Hell.

God blesses the countries that worship Him.

I don't have any children, but I do teach my nephew these beliefs.

To answer the remainder of your questions, let me say that this is a comparison of our different beliefs. I'm sure that whatever your beliefs are, there are things that I, and those that believe as I do, don't conform to. As such, there are negatice consequences that we are expected suffer for not believing as you do. Do you consider your beliefs judgemental as well? Please don't take this as an attack on your beliefs. You asked an honest question, and I gave you an honest answer...based on my personal beliefs.

question 1: there is only one who is good. Whose standards of good do you use. If you have think that the last 6 commandments are easy to follow, just reflect on what you did today: how many times lusted?desired something?lied?do anything so that it benefited you? etc.... and no you just have to do goodness for the sake of goodness...good luck achieving that without God or Jesus.

question 2: "There will be nations from the south and north who will inherit what the children have denied" God loves you and me the same, and is why he will wait until the last of his children is saved..............

question 3: I don't have children, but if I did I would simply raise them to love God and others so that one day he will realize that that is the truth that Jesus came to share with me.

Just be your own person and live a just and moral life always striving to be higher than you are at any point of your life. If you walk on the high path you will be shown the way and don't worry what all the naysayers are doing and saying

ok i dont think im better than anyone else because of my beliefs. God doesnt see me as better than anyone else either. I know to a lot of people it may seem like we have no evidence because our evidence is the bible, and that's not very good evidence. I think i know God is real because i know what's like to be in his presence, i know how amazing it feels to be in a relationship with him, and i believe everything in the bible, and everything i learn at church, I feel more secure when i believe in God than i did in those time i "walked away".

We are all going to die - no matter our beliefs.
I do not have a Heaven or Hell in my beliefs system.
And my God ( The Creator) does only bless everything.

And Of course I try to tell my children my beliefs - but I do not force them to believe.

they are free - like me.

I believe that EVERYONE on Earth is already following Jesus Christ, or they would not be here in a Physical body...

I believe that unless you reject Jesus after KNOWING that He is the Savior that you will end up in a part of Heaven (you may go to Hell for a while but not for eternity)...

I believe that those who reject Jesus after Knowing that He IS the Savior.. WILL go to Hell for Eternity...

I also believe that with Jesus, all things are possible and it may be that EVERYONE ends up in Heaven because His Atonement is infinite.
