To lose weight successfully, you should know the food that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT!!!
Yes,it is really important. You should know the truth:
1.Low Fat Foods DON'T always WORK...
2.Low Calorie Diets DON'T always WORK...
3.Low Carb Plans DON'T always WORK...
I followed the guide above and I lost 10 lbs in 7 days and then 30 lbs in less than a month.

I think the best thing to do is discuss your plans to lose weight with you parents, that way you can all work together as a family. I have fund that when there is more than one person in the household watching what they are eating it is a lot easier to stay on track. Also try to visit these websites that will help in with keeping track of what you eat, and also give you a work out routine that can help for your specific goals.

www.fitday.com
www.freetrainers.com (they have a teen message board & people are really incouraging)

GOOD LUCK, and be safe!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

First thing you need to do is sleep eight hours a night. Second things is go for a run, between 2-3 miles. After that everything else should fall into place.

you need to get at least 7 hours of sleep if not more. because you are so young you need it. also eating before you go to bed can cause you to gain weight, so don't eat anything for at least 2 hours before you go to bed. when i was younger, i started walking a lot to tone up and it really worked. if you keep a good pace going it should help some. keep playing your other sports and make minor altercations in your diet and you will do fine. good luck!
