I live in Canada so it's legal to get one at any age with parental discretion

Well I got my 1st just after I turned 18 and I had just had a baby and now I have 2 babies and I did gain some weight by being pregnant but then again my tattoo is on my arm, but honestly I think you'll be fine because some of my friends had tattoos at younger ages and they're fine. But I do know that it's hard to get a tattoo even with parent's permission before you're 18.

Dont ever get a tattoo on a spot that may stretch over time. But I mean really stretch!
LADIES stay away from ones on the belly until after you have had kids! A tattoo that is on a prego belly, looks pretty funny after your not pregnant. Basically it turns into a blob.
As for you, you skin isnt going to stretch that much no matter how much you bulk up. So you should be ok. You can always touch it up in your later years if you need to.

If you are done growing then it should be fine, small details may be lost if you gain more muscle but the general shape will stay. And it's legal, you've got the double threat saying it's fine, go for it!
**Canada has many different laws from us (U.S.). Many of my friends have gone up to Canada to get a tattoo before the age of 18 if their parents agreed and would go with them. It's not illegal for him people!

If you gain or lose weight, it's gonna look weird either way. Why bother to get a tattoo when it's gonna look bad as you get old and wrinkly?!? A lot of people get them and later get bored with them. I'd get a fake tattoo if I were you. By the way, the legal age is 18 not 17. Wait till you are legal. Good luck!

I would defiantly wait until you are 18 or 19. And it depends on your weight fluctuations as well. If you loose weight and gain it and loose it and gain it, it will damage the tattoo if its on a spot where it can be stretch.

i believe you have to be 18 to have one done in pretty much every state... but i don't think you'll grow enough to stretch out a tattoo a whole lot, unless you gain a LOT of weight
