There are some that look exactly like English words, but they don't mean the samething at all. Many words are similar with only one of two letters being different from the same word in English. Usually, the mean the same as English words.

Examples: cooperación, cooperation biología, biology médico, medic medicinal, medicinal motor, motor automóvil, automobile carro, car
bicicleta, bicycle motociclista, motorcyclist

There are many many more words similar to those in the examples above. If you really want to know more, get a dictionary and start leafing through it. It´ll take you awhile, but you´ll find a bunch of them.

Start with Spanish loanwords in English, then English loanwords in Spanish, followed with words in English and Spanish with the same (Latin) stem..

chocolate, except the ending's pronounced 'la-te' (as in the coffee) and not 'late' (as in tardy-ness).

there are similar sounding words...computadora and hamburguesa for example.
