How about a trip to the dentist?

And laying off the Dew.

What other sorts of parenting responsibilities are you "hands off" about anyway? I hope you have at least explained to him the benefits of filtered vs. unfiltered.

You should start brushing your kids teeth as soon as possible. I've even heard of people brushing softly babies gums. I would take that kid to the dentist as soon as possible too. Most dentist recamend that kids see the dentist for the first time as soon as they turn 1 1/2 -2. Also if your son is 9 its not to early to teach him about other kind of hygine like BO and deoderante. I know he's not growing hair under his arms so why encourage him now but he still goes to school which means gym and that means sweat. So have a hygine discussion TONIGHT!!!!!!

First you have to take a trip to the dentist. After that you should teach him to brush his teeth, but you will have to help him brush his teeth until he is ready brush them. I also suggest mouthwash or calcium. Both of these will help prevent tooth decay with teeth brushing.

You should have been taught your child how to brush his teeth by the time he was old enough to hold the truth brush his self. My daughter brushes her own teeth ,and uses the mouth wash just for children (Without being told) and she is only five and she has been doing this since she was 3!!!!!!!!

What is more costly, taking control because he can't handle it himself or paying for him to have veneirs put on? You should try the chewable tablets that turn his mouth a color and he has to brush it off. It is a good indicator if your child is brushing well.

You should teach him to brush. Maybe you can bring him to the dentist and ask them to teach him for you and also get a good cleaning too.

What kind of parent are you? By the age of nine he should know how to brush his own teeth. It will be your fault if they all need pulling out.

yes, and take him to the dentist right away. You need to find out if their baby teeth still or if hes going to have dental problems as an adult.
