I guess we differ on this. The first Christians were Jews. We believe as Christians that we are adopted into the chosen people through Jesus.
Thank you for sharing your belief in a respectful manner and I pray that all who answer you will be respectful also.

'Mashiach' capacity annoited- no longer something approximately prophet in there! As such, each and every king of Israel became a mashiach as became each and every Kohen Gadol (extreme Priest). The term Mashiach interior the context you're bearing on, capacity an annoited person who will accomplish ceretain projects- that have yet to be carried out! till they're carried out, the guy can not declare to be the mashiach, in spite of ways many miracles they carry out or how guy human beings proclaim them. and there is not any eternal curse on the Jews - it exists purely interior the minds of people who could attack Judasim to objective and discover some experience of self-well worth in view that they're insecure of their own ideals! Nope- Jesus is incomprehensible interior the Jewish view- he did no longer ACCOMPLISH WHAT THE MESSIAH became meant TO DO! If he had, we would have international peace, the ineffective may be resurrected, the Jews may be prieats to something fot he international, the Temple may be status and the temple provider, with all its sacrifices, may be being performed. because it is, the temple is destroyed, the ineffective do no longer come back to existence, their isn't any temple provider, and the international is plenty from non violent! And Jews, in contrast to your spurious opposition, keep God's words and don't kill prophets as imposters (while you're bearing on Jesus- a million) he became no longer a prophet and 2) he became killed by utilising the Romans, no longer the Jews)

You have your own set of rules that do not provide forgiveness !!! You seem to NOT have a LET LIVE policy hence all you infighting amongst yourselves and others. Isn't that kind of rebellion in its own right !!! By the way the Tenauk tells the truth that Ishmael was not the promised son to be sacrificed. But the aging parents ran ahead of God's intended purpose and Ishmael became the first born and not the one God had promised Abraham and Sarah !!!
The Tenauch shares the mistakes and disobediences that seem to be the kind of tempations we all get everyday

By Biblical accounts, Ishmael took the same covenant Abraham and all of his household did. Ishmael stayed with Abraham for quite a while, 13 I think. but blessings were included, same covenant.
your choice
they refer to themselves as the children of Israel, or the children of Abraham.

I think there are passages in the Bible that are being taken too literally. There are passages in the Qur'an also that people take Literally. Without sounding like I'm disrespecting anybody's beliefs, my opinion is that when God refers to us as His children, He doesn't mean it literally. It means he is our creator, and we came into existence through His mercy.
Also, someone had earlier stated that we Muslims don't respect Jesus. Actually, you're so wrong. We love and respect him like all of our previous religious figures. We just don't consider him God, or the son of God. We consider him as our beloved Prophet.

Redeemer
One who does any of the following:
1. to buy or pay off; clear by payment: to redeem a mortgage.
2. to buy back, as after a tax sale or a mortgage foreclosure.
3. to recover (something pledged or mortgaged) by payment or other satisfaction: to redeem a pawned watch.
4. to exchange (bonds, trading stamps, etc.) for money or goods.
5. to convert (paper money) into specie.
6. to discharge or fulfill (a pledge, promise, etc.).
7. to make up for; make amends for; offset (some fault, shortcoming, etc.): His bravery redeemed his youthful idleness.
8. to obtain the release or restoration of, as from captivity, by paying a ransom.
None of which is Prophet. Islam teaches that Jesus didn't even die on the cross. You deny He is God, the Son of God, or Redeemer (by the above dictionary definitions). You call Him liar when He claimed to be the great I AM. How is this honoring His name in any way shape or form.. Mohammad and all those who follow Him are teaching and living in the spirit of Anti-Christ... Jim

No, Messiah does not mean prophet. Messiah is Hebrew meaning The Anointed One. In Greek the title is Christ (Kristos). No way was Jesus a mere prophet. He was something more and far above a prophet.
