My bf, is Slovakian/Hungarian. I dont understand the culture very well, i can understand some of the language but not the culture. He doesnt like the american culture or as I say "going out with me" (i.e parties, he sticks to his culture) How can I understand what they do? They do alot of sex, drinking, and partying. Which to be honest I dont mind at all. It's just i'd like to get out there and dance my heart out and stuff like that...but im not sure how to talk to him about it, understand where he's coming from...

I know they're two different languages, im not stupid. In souther Slovakia however, near the border they speak Hungarian not slovakian. Im not talking about the language, im talking about the culture, read the question first, think before you type...

I know Hungarians and Slovaks, and have the impression that your boyfriend just doesn't like dancing. Try dancing with _his_ best friend a few times. Or the ultimate hint, dance with other girls. That usually shakes them awake.
