I am going to Trinidad for a girl I met 3 years ago online. She's 19. We have been comunicating for 3 years by phone and E-mail. She calls every Saturday. We talk for about 2 hours. We love each other very much and want to meet...people think i'm nuts, but it's important. She doesn't wanna marry me just to come to America. I'm the one that asked her. We wanna start a band and become the next big Nirvana. So.....what do you all think? I need a passport though.......IDK how much they are or how long they take to receive. How long do I wait for it?

Passport for you about $80. Get this going soon as it takes about 4 to 6 weeks. The post office has the forms.
Her coming over, almost impossible (unless you marry her). ~

Go to the Philadelphia passport office and they can get you set up quite easily. It may take up to 30 days to get a passport, if you can prove your citizenship (i.e. birth certificate). Be aware that when you leave Trinidad, you will have to pay 100 Trinidad dollars (about $20 US) for the privilege of leaving and you have to pay cash, no debit/credit cards accepted. Nirvana not real big in Trinidad, but you can always add a reggae flavor to your tunes.

Besides the passport you'll also need a photo ID. You can get these at many different places (such as drug stores, local AAA offices, etc). The price for photo ID depends on where you get it taken.

The same cost as every other state. It's federal.

Because of new passport laws, it may take up to six months to get one.
