thats why when i bought my loptop, i made sure that vista will run smoothly i it. i got a 2G RAM. so if you want to uninstall that first you must have an XP cd. and make sure that you have the drivers for that computer in XP. because sometimes like if you bought computers already in vista, its hard to find a driver for it on XP.
not that hard to install XP. insert the CD, restart Pc, follow the instructions, format drive C: then your done.

I have XPprofessional and 768MB ram, system runs fast and flawlessly. Be sure you save everything. uninstall Vista and reinstall your XP with the cd. You are not the first to complain about Vista. At least you were smart enough not to buy a Mac.

go to the company see what kind of memory the laptop is compable with at newegg 1 gig of ddr2 667 is about $55. to get shiped to you. when xp home would be about $100. xp pro is about $200.
if you bought it w/ vista it should handle anouther stick of memory. if it can't xp should have the motherboard drivers.

Purchase XP Home/Pro/MediaCenter, pop in the disc before it loads into vistaand boot from it, erase the partition, start from scratch. I've done it many times at my pc shop at the request of clients. Just make sure there is XP drivers for your sound, video, ethernet/wireless and modem. These are the main ones.

well first you got to have a an xp installer cd.

Begin by inserting it then restarting. As soon as its black first F2 and check for your hardware setup whether drive A or D make sure the one with the "I" is first and then ESC and save it.

Then it will ask press any key. Then follow all the step and delete the partition and then create one. for more info search google for formating your computer.

You should return your PC and buy a mac. Seriously. At least go to an apple store and check them out.
