Yes, dogs can get bored and depressed. Don't think your pup is either. Pretty much boredom and depression come from dogs tied on a leash or chain in a yard for most of their lives.

I wouldn't worry about this, because your new puppy is adjusting and will need time to become situated in her new home. It will just take a little time. It seems you are doing everything in your power to 'bond' with her, so keep up the good work. Your puppy will soon feel as though she's part of the family, and be a fun loving puppy, just the way she should be. Dogs do get bored but not depressed.

It sounds like you are doing all the right things. Remember, that puppies are babies and need a lot of rest. Believe it or not, puppies should spend most of the day sleeping. It could be that your dog is simply tired after all that fun and exercise. Make sure you give your dog plenty of time to rest as well as play. I doubt she is depressed or sad at all with all the love.

Dogs sleep a lot so the bored look is probably just her sleepy look. It sounds like she's getting plenty of attention and exercise so I'm sure she's perfectly happy. My dogs go for a walk about an hour a day, we play a liitle through out the day, and the rest of the time they just lounge around the house. They just want to be with you, so just let her be where you are, and she's just fine!

You sound like a good mom! When you leave for work, put your undies, or your jammeys near her. When she looks lonley, pick that baby up and love her. All puppies would be lucky to have you as a mom! Long walks are perfect (make sure you have her shots up to date) Dog's can very ill from dog's without shots!
