You might have to add a few bucks but get this one,
it's been on sale at Micro Center for $161.00

The best camera for under $200 is the Canon A550

* 7.1 Megapixel
*4X Optical Zoom
* Very good photo quality, noise levels low through ISO 400 (in good light)
* Well built for the price
* Very good performance
* LCD visible in low light
* Some manual controls
* AF-assist lamp, good low light focusing
* Good movie and continuous shooting modes
* Impressive software bundle
* Uses AA batteries; great battery life
* USB 2.0 High Speed support

Try the Nikon Coolpix. It is compact enough to carry around in a pocket or purse and takes good quality pictures. It has a 2.5" screen with 7 megapixel photos.

This link shows the Coolpix L12 and has a $200 MSRP (which is much higher than anyone really pays). There is also a cheaper L11 with a $150 MSRP (again higher than you would pay) with a slightly smaller screen and a few less features.

well if you are too clutzy any camera you get will end up being no good if you drop it or something. Canon is a good brand if you can find one under 150. You need rechargeable batteries and a charger, almost all digital cameras such up battery power pretty fast. I carry a supply of charged up batteries. And recharge them as they go dead
