I have been trying to lose weight for the past few months, and I eat 3 normal meals a day. But when i cheat, I have been chewing the food and spitting it out. Just so i get the taste in my mouth, but don't have to deal with all the calories. I know its gross you dont have to tell me that, but is it dangerous to my health?

I hope not, cuz I do it alot. Its easier than doing an extra 100 crunches. I dont think its abnormal, just something people dont talk about much. BY THE WAY, the girl said she eats 3 meals a day, shes NOT starving or being deprived of nutrients, she just doesnt wanna deal with the "GUILT" of having cheated on her diet. Dont sweat it, youre good to try and make your body healthy.

Ive suffered with eating disorders for almost 5 years now, and at a time i did do the same type of thing. That in itself wouldn't make you have an eating disorder. If you are restricting your food to much and not getting enough calories, that's a different thing
Also, digestion starts in your mouth and saliva starts the digestion of calories so even with chewing it and spitting it out, you are getting some nutrients.

Im form of the comparable way, i will in easy terms consume around 500 or seven hundred energy an afternoon. yet I on no account will basically pass an afternoon and not consume. It looks such as you're initiating the initiating of a ingesting affliction. ingesting affliction's do exactly no longer must be purdging your self. easily to your age you need to atleast consume 1015 energy an afternoon. And excercising each and daily. besides the fact that, i will't communicate for that reason i do no longer consume many energy, acourse i'm on a nutrition plan. it particularly is one element to be healthy yet yet another basically ravenous your self. you need to consume well-known. Exspecially to your age reason you want the nutrition. easily if a doctor ever stumbled on that out, they could dedicate you simply by fact they think approximately that a ingesting affliction. even in the experience that your no longer even very hungry on them days basically attempt to consume some thing gentle. Like a sandwhich and that's it for the day in case you're worried approximately energy! Im basically saying wide-unfold practitioner's might evaluate that a ingesting affliction, exspeicially in case you're under weight. they could take you in a scientific institution and make you get on a fooding tube or the two make you confer with somebody.

Do you think this is normal? If you had a child and she/he was doing this would it be ok with you? I think this is NOT normal and can lead to more problems if you don't get this under control now. You are actually still getting the calories....so what you are doing is just fooling yourself... Truly stop and think about this. Try eating more smaller meals throughout the day and walking 20-30mins a day, that should help you.

As long as you're still eating meals and consuming enough calories, it's not dangerous to your health.

If you start to starve yourself and chew/spit your meals, then yes, it'll be dangerous.

Well, it's some way not to eat,...sort of....it's not throwing up, but it means there is a compulsion which can't be controlled. The things is I love pizza but it doesn't love me, so I do not eat it and spit it out. ...I don't eat it period.

I think an eating disorders psychologist should be consulted.

Sounds like you are taking your first awkward steps into bulimia.
Stop now before you ruin your life. You are beautiful just the way you are.

sounds like a unusual form of bullemia..except you're not throwing it up. It is dangerous, you're depriving your body of valuable food and nutrients. you will end up malnourished and eventually starve to death if you continue to do this.
