I hear christians complain about porn and pornstars. They say it's destroying the world. I say organized religion has done far more damage than porn ever will. Look at all the wars and murders in the name of religion.

Porn makes most people happy...the only bad that could come of it would be stds.
Religion causes far more emotional, mental, and physical damage all around the world.

Wow, a man who likes his porn eh? lol I think I'll have to agree that organized religion has caused more problembs. War, intollerance, imperialism etc. However, I must say that Religion has also given depth to our society, and a certain class. Religion has contibuted to art, law, politics, even to a few scientific discoveries. Religion has also unified much of the culture of Western Europe, and shaped both the West and East of our world. So shortly I think that allthough religion can hurt, and destroy people, it has also contributed great things, and who can say what our world would be like without it. On the other hand, I don't really think porn adds anything to our culture, and in a few cases it can e harmful. I think Christians believe porn is destroying the fabric of our culture and society, it can also be seen as degrading to women (obviously) I think however in a strange way it is degrading to sex itslef. An interesting question though, even if it was just because you are angry at religion (or just love your porn). Hope I helped!

People fight over territory, not religion. Religion is merely one of the tools used to get power, money, fame. Same thing happens with science. So many countries are threatening to build nuclear arsenals. It not the fault of science, it's the immorality of man seeking material possession, territory. It's all a power game.

The problem is that no one knows the real truth anymore, and till the real truth raises its head we will continue to go down the road to destruction ... and it is Mankind that destroys itself not God ... God has no intention to do Wrong to us unless we do wrong to ourselves.
Porn is Bad and Organized religion is bad .......... except if it is based on Justice and Truth and the acceptance that we are all flawed beings and need forgiveness from God and need to forgive each other for our evil.

Now what about all the hospitals, schools, homeless shelters, and nursing homes, and universities that have been started by Christians?
