agrees with ray-j, you must be 43 1/2 years old to kill a duck, and when you turn 44 you must have a valid hunting license before you can kill one.

the last i heard, you have to be 82 1/2 years old to legally get a hunting license in indiana

In my state you would need a "duck stamp" and also only hunt during duck season. It is illegal to kill any wild life. Even snakes... although people do that all the time. Check with your game and fish commission people. If you don't know who they are, just call city hall. They're good at sending you to the right place.

At 14, most states require you to hunt w/ an adult who has not only a state issued hunting license, but a federal migritory bird stamp. W/out this stamp, shooting ducks/geese can land you in very serious trouble.

Shooting ducks w/out a proper license and for sport only (not for use as food) is wrong and irresponsible. If you choose to hunt, you should follow all rules and regs of your state and only kill what you will eat. Sport killing is a waste of a natural food source. I'm not saying that hunting is wrong - I love it. But, we use all meat that is shot.

It is a game animal and you must have a hunting license, plus this is a migratory waterfowl, which comes under Federal regulations. You must purchase a "duck stamp" and there are regulations to determine which and how many ducks or geese you shoot. Of course it has to be during the hunting season.

You have to have a duck hunting license and it has to be duck hunting season. If you are a minor, I think you have to have an adult with you while you hunt. A license shouldn't be more than $10-20.

It is only legal if you have a hunting license and ducks are in season. A license costs $12,000.
