It isn't also many of these "remedies" where they will cause people to self deport are rather BS too. Illegals to take up a portion of our resources but it is still a very small percentage and not all illegals are using it. Most illegals only use hospitals for birthing and other things are dealt with by privately funded free clinics. Also the majority of the money spent on illegals are actually for their children, who for at least a majority of them are legals through the 14th amendment. What we need to do is seal the border from illegal immigration and just deal with the illegals we have here. There is no need to waste excess money rounding up people, just to satisfy people unnecessary rhetoric. Really only about 10percent of Americans feel that mass deportation is the solution to illegal immigration.

You be the judge. Before you start calling me names, read through this and then do your home work. I have.

First close the border using our military. Some will frown at using our military but a little know fact is the Mexican Army has made numerous incursions into the U.S. creating diversions for drug runners and the coyotes who smuggle in people. Let the military react to the electronic surveillance equipment that is already there and has been for years. Border Patrol does not have the man power to react to this electronic surveillance and they are no match for the Mexican army.

Once this is accomplished, start rounding the illegals up and deport them. Make it a federal crime to hire and /or harbor them. Enforce the laws in existence now.

Those who think this is a hard stance have to remember they are illegal. If they are allowed to stay, what do you tell those who have waited up to 2-3 years for legal entry?

I have traveled the country and worked in hospitals. It is basically the same in every state. Look at the facts. The monies withheld from their wages, if withheld at all, does not equal the cost for their health and welfare. The Emergency Room is their primary doctor. The birthing facilities along with the ER is free to them. We pay higher costs to equate this. Tuberculosis was all but stamped out in the US but now it is being reintroduced by illegals coming across the southern border. Hospitals have had to build multi-million dollar TB isolation rooms to accommodate this and keep it from becoming the epidemic it once was. Your higher costs for medical services pay for this

Their loyalty to Mexico was proven when they carried the Mexican flag during their protests. At a California college, they raised the Mexican flag above the US flag on the same flag pole and purposely. They further demonstrate the non-loyalty to the US by refusing to learn English and sometimes demanding Spanish.

You are being hoodwinked by our government. Big business wants the illegals for smaller wages. This leaves you out of a job. You may have heard if we get rid of the illegals, no one will pick the veggies etc. Stop the career, gravy train called welfare and when someone gets hungry, they will work. Hell, why should anyone work when they can sit on their lazy behinds and collect government checks monthly filled with working peoples tax money. The mindset here is have more babies and collect more money.

Consider our career politicians are buying votes with welfare and complete ignorance to an open border. Their insistence on amnesty will buy them the illegal vote too. You are not being represented very well if at all in DC. Think about it.

If you think I am wrong, then answer me why our government is pouring millions into Homeland Security with a border wide open? Then consider who has come across that border that our government admits no knowledge of. You can bet your sweet bippy some of them are middle eastern bent on our destruction.

Take way the jobs and all the government benefits and they will have no reason to come here. Many will leave on their own and those that don't can then be rounded up and sent home.
Eisenhower did a mass deportation,it worked well.Once they knew that the heat was on,many left on their own for fear of being deported.
They are here illegally and therefore should not be entitled to the benefits meant for American citizens.
No Amnesty!

First have them all register- tell them they are going to get a free pass(they kind of will). Once pictures and finger prints are taken and addresses are known, we send out letters letting them know that they have 30 days to deport at their expense. All of their property and personal belongings will be sold at auction to help pay for deportation, bank accounts will be frozen( any money left over will be given to the public schools) those who decline to be deported will reside in a tent city by the border and will do hard labor for ten years to help pay for their incarceration. those who decline to register will be caught by the landlord and employer laws. All children born in the US by non US Citizens will be considered non US Citizens and either sent back with their parents or put up for adoption.

Go after the people who hire them. Take away ALL the profits of an employer who hires illegals. Fine them heavily so they make NO money from hiring illegals. Reward employers for hiring American citizens and legal immigrants.

If no one hires illegals in the USA, then they will go to a country that will hire them.

DNK
Unlawful Entry is a CRIME. Zero tolerance for immigration-law violators! No amnesty, no "stealth-amnesty." No "change of status," marriage fraud, "exceptional leave to remain," no "Temporary Protected Status." If you break the law, depart or be deported. Illegal aliens kill more US citizens each year than the war in Iraq has killed in four years. Apologists for illegal immigration like to paint it as a victimless crime. But in fact, illegal immigration causes substantial harm to American citizens and legal immigrants, particularly those in the most vulnerable sectors of our population--the poor, minorities, and children. Additionally, job competition by waves of illegal immigrants willing to work at substandard wages and working conditions depresses the wages of American workers, hitting hardest at minority workers and those without high school degrees. Illegal immigration also contributes to the dramatic population growth overwhelming communities across America--crowding school classrooms, consuming already limited affordable housing, and straining precious natural resources like water, energy, and forestland. Taxpayers are being forced to pay for the free health care, education, and other welfare programs being given to illegal aliens; Those tax dollars could be given back to U.S. taxpayers or used to keep our borders secure; They may be here illegally, but they sure know how to "work the system" to collect "free" medical care, "free" education, "free" food, Section 8 housing vouchers and other housing assistance, and hundreds of other social services. It costs citizens additional hundreds of billions of tax dollars at every level: local, state, and federal. It gobbles up billions of our charitable contributions. And much of that money ends up siphoned out of our economy and into offshore accounts. Illegal aliens, over half of whom work "under the table" with neither job nor income reported (nor taxed), are not counted as employed or unemployed. But some of those day-labor and off-the-books "job-lets" would be "real" jobs - available to American citizen job-seekers - if employment regulations were enforced. Illegal aliens can get away with tax evasion, et al., which citizens cannot. In short, we have too many workforce entrants and too few jobs created. The ratio works out to roughly 7-10 workforce entrants per job created. If all illegal aliens depart or are deported, all legal immigration halted, and all temporary employment visas abolished, we still have a problem with more US-born workforce entrants than new jobs created. Illegal immigration damages our country and our citizens every day at every level. And not even the attacks of 2/26 and 9/11 have awakened many Americans to the vast dangers illegal immigration poses to our selves, our families, our communities, our society, our values, our principles, our civilization. Zero Tolerance for Immigration-Law Violators! We must remember the lessons of 2/26, 9/11, and the costs we bear every single day. God Bless the U S A !

1. Force employers to quit hiring illegals.
2. Cut off any governmental benefits if they are illegal.

If you start with this, they wouldn't want to be over here illegally anyway. They'd either become "legal" or round themselves up and go home.
