I heard that pornography is a road to hell because you're living in sin and your love with Jesus may fall lukewarm. In that case, would any other addiction that bring you away from Jesus be a road to hell?
BTW, I'd say if someone who believed in Jesus died as a porn addict but repented and was trying to escape, God would show mercy on the addict and forgive him/her.

I don't think someone can repent after they die, so they would die in their sins of being a porn addict. Believing in Jesus is supposed to liberate people from strongholds like pornography before they die.

Yes, it is. As a christian I got addicted with porn. God got very angry at me because of that. Although I was doing secretly when everyone slept, God saw me and He always told my mom I was doing something wrong. He warned me 3 times to quit I was disobedient and it was hard to quit until I almost died. That's when I realized how God loved and how bad pornography is to the eyes of God.
Porn=Hell.

Jesus came for sinners. You will always be a sinner this side of heaven, but you can follow his lead along the way. Rich Mullins (famous Christian musician) was an alcoholic. Henri Nouwen (famous Christian author) struggled with homosexuality. Just look to Jesus more than your weaknesses.

i think your missing the big picture. Porn is a SYMPTOM of a much bigger problem. it all has to do with the First commandment. People that are into porn are putting carnal things before spiritual things----not to mention degrading other human beings as objects and not humans.

The seven deadly sins are so named bc it is thought that if you indulged in them continually, you eventually would reject Christ in favor of them, and so wouldn't go to heaven. Jesus isn't going to die again, so if you decide to follow Him and then reject Him and live that out, you're gone. That's why they're called the "deadly" sins. If you continue in them, it's thought that you'll reject God completely.

well i love porn and pornstars and have a very successful life. i think pornstars are just like us except for there job. porn isnt bad and anything can be bad if ya do it all the time . i say some of u in this religion section are addicted to religion and it has made u narrow minded. also i dont believe in hell either. it has been taught to scare people and organized religion has done more to harm society then porn ever has
