I asked how god could reveal himself to me. one person said that my conscience is god speaking to me. I always thought my conscience was just simply knowing right from wrong through learning experiences all of my life. I thought it would be common sense to know to right and not wrong. If I did something wrong, I knew it was wrong either due to trial and error or knowing in advance that it is wrong.
My question is how can you say definitively and without a doubt that god is talking to me.

i dont really think u can say for sure. if there is a God, which i believe there is, but i dont know of any proof, and if he wants to tell u something, im sure he will let u no. someone i no said once when she was younger and was sleeping at a friends house she felt this light over her and a great pleasant warmth. her friend the next day she felt it too. maybe this is one way it works, but i dunno. i think God wants u to either figure out or decide for urself. if u were supposed to no i think u already would.

When the message you get is one that you could not have come to on your own, given your experience and knowledge at the given time, it is coming from a higher power. If this isn't clear, let me know and I'll try to elaborate.

your conscience is a gift
given to you
to help guide you through your life
it is a measure of your selfishness
and you should listen to it carefully
I doubt any God would expect more from you

God will NEVER tell you to do anything that hurt you or anyone else.
