Boiled down to its most basic components, it means that Jesus is just as truly God as he is Man. If Jesus had human parents on "both sides," what's to make him any more God than you or I?

Jesus was not born in sin; that is, He had no sin nature (Hebrews 7:26). It would seem that the sin nature is passed down from generation to generation through the father (Romans 5:12, 17, 19). The Virgin Birth circumvented the transmission of the sin nature and allowed the eternal God to become a perfect man.

It means that Isaiah 7:14 (which is in the Old Testament) turned out to be true. 7:14 says, "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child . . ."

Luke 1:26-31 (which is in the New Testament) says, "In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, 'Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you. Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, 'Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus.'"

it means Jesus cleaned the womb of a woman. God knows that life is given threw Satan. Or lust. We r not to desire the flesh of this world, but to search of a heavenly way of Giving each other in marriage. That is the same for Circumcision, with the Jews. God shamed the Jews for the way they create life with one another. We r no different than the animals, we can be attracted to more than one person sexually. God is not the author of sex, he is the creator, but not the author. To find his way u would only have one lover and never be tempted to have more. Notice Mary was not given in love to Josef, his own mother was not loved in a sexual way, so that mean neither r you. But everyone will say I'm in love, but there love for one another ends in this life, and does not continue in heaven. Everyone is blind in this exept for me, u won't get any real answer from anyone eles. Other then them saying the scriptures say this had to happen.

The same as Krishna's virgin birth.

Jesus and Krishna were called both a God and the Son of God.
Both were sent from heaven to Earth in the form of a man.
Both were called Savior, and the second person of the Trinity.
Both adoptive human fathers were carpenters.
A spirit or ghost was their actual father.
Krishna and Jesus were of royal descent.
Both were visited at birth by wise men and shepherds, guided by a star.
Angels in both cases issued a warning that the local dictator planned to kill the baby and had issued a decree for his assassination. The parents fled. Mary and Joseph stayed in Muturea; Krishna's parents stayed in Mathura.
Both Jesus and Krishna withdrew to the wilderness as adults, and fasted.
Jesus was called "the lion of the tribe of Judah." Krishna was called "the lion of the tribe of Saki."
Both claimed: "I am the Resurrection."
Both referred to themselves having existed before their birth on Earth.
Both were "without sin."
Both were god-men: being considered both human and divine.
They were both considered omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.
Both performed many miracles, including the healing of disease. One of the first miracles that both performed was to make a leper whole. Each cured "all manner of diseases."
Both cast out indwelling demons, and raised the dead.
Both selected disciples to spread his teachings.
Both were meek, and merciful. Both were criticized for associating with sinners.
Both encountered a Gentile woman at a well.
Both celebrated a last supper. Both forgave his enemies.
Both descended into Hell, and were resurrected. Many people witnessed their ascensions into heaven.

It means that God can do anything. But personally, since you asked-- to me it doesn't prove that Jesus was the son of God. It just means that God has power over all things, over heaven and earth, and all that is in between.
The birth of Jesus was indeed a miracle. But it saddens me that people stress so much over that and tend to leave out his message, which is to serve God.

Everything. If he wasn't born then he couldn't save us by dying on the cross. I'd advise you to read John 3:16. Really, look it up. You will find your answer there.
