You cant gain a disease within a week and dismiss it. Its rude to act as if this is so easy to do or an option, there are hundreds of thousands of girls dieing all the time from lack of nutrition from a low self esteem. If you want to look better eat better and work out okay, and by the way you are not over weight in any way shape or form with your measurements.

Fasting won't produce the results you want. Your body will "realize" it very quickly that it's not being fed for some reason, time to SAVE. The effect of not eating will be offset by the effect of your body trying to store fat. Yeah, you will lose a little bit, but it won't be the stuff you want to part with - fat on your chest and on your face. Losing that makes you look old and exhausted, not slim. Your family won't be happy to see that. You will be cranky and unhappy for the whole week long. Also, you are likely to faint and scare your friends and/or bash your head on something hard.
Conclusion: not worth it.

BTW, you didn't use the term anorexic corectly, that's why you hear so many bad comments. Anorexia is a desease. You can't will yourself in and out of it.

I know you are going to hear a lot of this so I will try and say it as nice as I can. An eating disorder isn't something to play around with. If you want to lose weight just watch what you eat. Go vegaterain for the week. Food like celery, lettuce have little to no calories. (Celery is considered a free food. It takes more to digest than is in it to begin with.) Have chicken noodle soup with the veggies. This way you get some of the nutrition and you won't starve yourself. Please consider this instead of not eating at all. Your body will begin to store fat instead of burning it. Think of a bear the metbolism slows down preparing for staying alive during the winter.

There is no way you are 22 percent body fat. My reasoning: Weighing in at 214 pounds my body fat was 22 percent. I am also 5'6. There is no arguing with it... my height and weight as well as body fat were calculated by CIF during wrestling season. Anyways, you can't be anorexic for a week.... there is nothing you can possibly do.

you might pass out... I would try the LEMONADE DIET..which is essentially a fast...but you have energy and take in SOME calories...you will shed pounds FAST with this...i did it and lost like 10 lbs in 3 days! plus you wont gain it all back when you visit your family whereas if you fast you will!

If you’ve never heard of the lemonade diet, basically it is a 10-day fast where you drink nothing but a special “lemonade” drink. It is one of the best known methods for cleaning out your intestinal and colon walls. Although not intended as a weight-loss diet, it is effective at helping you balance your body and “rebooting” the metabolic process - which often results in weight loss (I lost around 10 lbs on this). So here goes:

Lemonade Diet Recipe

For at least 10 days, drink around 10 servings/day of the following:

* 2 Tablespoons (1 fluid ounce) fresh-squeezed lemon or lime juice NOT BOTTLED JUICE!! (approx. ½ lemon),
* 2 Tablespoons (1 fluid ounce) organic Grade B maple syrup,
* 1/10 Teaspoon or more cayenne pepper (hot red pepper), and
* 1 Cup (8 fluid ounces) purified or spring water, NOT fluoridated water.

(This is what I did) This is the equivalent of taking an empty gallon water jug and filling it with:

* the juice of 5 lemons
* 1 1/4 cup of organic Grade B maple syrup
* 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
* 10 cups of water

Shake it all up and you got your days’ serving!

Salt-Water Flush Recipe

Upon rising drink a mixture of:

* 2 level teaspoons of uniodized sea salt to a…
* quart of lukewarm water

Herbal Laxative Tea (You can find this at most grocery stores)

Each evening drink an herbal laxative tea to help with elimination - preferably right before bed.

That’s it! Do that for at least ten days for a complete intestinal cleanse. If you haven’t read my experience with the 10-day lemonade diet, check it out here. Or if you just want to read about the final results you can go directly to the 10th day of the lemonade diet.

The Master Cleanser Diet, or as popularly
known; The Lemonade Diet was created by the
late Naturopath Stanley Burroughs. The Diet
consists of fasting to rid the body of toxins,
created by improper diet, lack of exercise and
negative mental attitudes. The purpose of the
Lemonade Diet is to dissolve and eliminate toxins
and congestion; to cleanse the kidneys and
digestive system; to purify glands; to eliminate
waste and hardened materials in the joints and
muscles; to build a healthy bloodstream; to
maintain optimal blood pressure; and to what
you all are waiting to hear... to lose weight. As a
reducing diet it is superior in every way, reducing
fat at a rate of about two (2) pounds a day for
most persons, without harmful side effects.
The popularity of the Master Cleanser or Lemonade
Diet is growing, especially now that we have celebrities
raving about Mr. Borrough's diet. Have you seen Robin
Quivers? she was featured in People's Magazine (April
5th issue, read about it!) she looks absolutely gorgeous
after losing 70 pounds following the Lemonade Diet on
3 occasions. Quoting from the article, Ms. Quivers
says the regimen is responsible for erasing the joint
pain and fatigue that had plagued her more than a
decade.

Well actually there's nothing wrong with fasting for a weekend or whatever. It is actually good when you're older. It clears out your body of toxins and is recommended by many doctors. It's called cleansing.

don't do this!
if you want to lose weight, you have to do it the right way.
eat healthy foods in smaller portions and then go do some exercise.
it bothers me that people will take the easy way out and just stop eating instead of actually doing the work!
GO EXERCISE!!!

You will get slimmer, but you will look unhealthy. I suggest you try and eat healthy and care less about what people think.
