If your question is if you can change a string at a guitar shop you probably can, but your best option is to buy a complete set of strings and have a technician install them. Usually there is no charge to string up the instrument if you buy the strings there at the store.

A fresh string out of five old ones will certainly tell the difference. Have a complete set installed. You'll be happier.

Not sure what you are wanting to know but yes they will change a guitar string at a guitar shop for you or all most any music store will do it for you.
You might consider having all new strings put on your guitar.
One new string with the rest that has been on the guitar for a while might sound a little different.
A whole new set will make the guitar sound like it should.

dont be afraid to try to do it yourself, just be careful at first - or go get the guy at the store to show you how to do it properly so you can do it yourself.

if you only need one string, its better just to get the whole new set.
