Need help singing to Maroon 5?

Ok so Im thinking of signing up for this years school talent show singing This Love by Maroon 5. Now, im like trying to get my voice good for that song. How do you sing that song? Thanks your help and tips would be greatly appreciated

I think you would have to try this singing technique called falsetto. Maroon 5 falsetto isn't really those very high falsetto type, so I might be possible for you. If you can find a vocal coach, ever better, ask them to teach u the basic of falsetto singing.

Just listen to the song, most part you can sing with a normal voice, only certain part using falsetto. You might want to get a tape recorder and record ur singing, then compare it to the original song to see how far your notes is from the original ones. U might also want to put the recorder at a distance from you to test ur vocal projection.

ps: I think the song "She Will Be Love" is a much easier song, only later part of its chorus has those high pitch falsetto thing, and you don't necessarily need to sing a pitch as high as that, so long as the note is correct, it will sound good.

I lower my voice enough to match the song and if your not so well at high notes like me just format them to your normal singing voice,.

my way of practicing is puting one headphone in one ear and leaving the other one out so i can hear the melody and my voice so that i know what i need help on and practice that part of my voice...good luvk =] im sure youll be great

well i don't think that is a good guy song (its super high pitched), but do some high scales on a piano. and when you sing it, plug one ear and your nose and try and get yourself to sing without any vibration in your nose while still sounding good with your ear pluged. good luck!♥
