When I was 15 I finally could not take the abuse any longer. He was going to to die or I was. Something came over me that morning and I went to my counciler at school. I spilled every detail from my whole life including the beatings and the sexual abuse. It honestly was an out of the body experience. A social worker took money from her own bank account to provide 5 bus tickets to our family to escape. I don't know what was different about that day. Maybe it was survival kicking in, I'm not sure. If you are the one being hurt, I beg of you to get some help. Find a way to escape. If you know a child being abused, get help now. Find someone you trust. We went to our priest and he told my mother if she had been a better mother/wife and I a better daughter, this would not have happened. Take action now. Not only does the child's body get violated, but so does their soul. Don't make another child suffer in silence. I beg of you. The internet is full of resources to help. Scream it from the rooftops if you know a child is being abused. If you are the child or teenager, find a loving adult, a teacher, a family, something. Do not give up until you are safe and heard. Sorry to rant, but this hits too close to home. I am 36 now and I still have nightmares about the abuse. Child abuse cripples a person so profoundly in every prospect of their lives. If you are an abuser, GET HELP! You will destroy this person in ways that cannot be repaired.

Call DHHS, Tell a teacher/counselor/principal, tell a friend, ask to stay the night at a friends and while you are there tell the parents or call the abuse hotline. Run out of yor house and to the neighbors- if they are nice trust worthy people, call the police, 911, GET OUT of that house. When you leave for school one day- tell the bus driver, go straight to the police dept or nearest store. Tell someone. Tell anyone that is not a close friend of the parent IF youthink the person will tell your parent and side with them. Which will get you in more serious beatings.
You gotta get out before they kill you.

hopefully, talk with a trusted adult and ask for help... many times abused children feel ashamed and as if it's their fault they are being mistreated, some just don't know who to turn to for help... schools/teachers need to be on the look out for this and it's symptons and can help with notifying social services... i hope the child can get some help before it's too late... my thoughts are with you!
