No, it doesn't really matter how the universe began.
And I agree that why we're here may be an endlessly debatable question, but it pales in importance to the question of how we should live.
I think you're on the right track. Congratulations and good luck.

Jose, I *wish* scientists could purely say "i don't comprehend," yet regrettably, a lot of them are purely dodging the full situation via announcing there replaced into something formerly the massive bang which brought about it. that's what M-theory is all approximately and that i think of it extremely is a inexpensive ward off. Daveybear, i think of the suited answer is that we do exactly not comprehend. what's extra, i've got self assurance the question of ways it began out *won't have the ability to* be widely used. it extremely is impossible for us to even hit upon the universe wisely from an exterior vantage factor, and that's what you're able to could accomplish that as to assert the way it began. i'm not even specific it "began" in the experience that we are in a position to conceive. The question of count number or capability coming from not something is a deep enigma. all of us comprehend the regulations of thermodynamics are good, yet there is one factor to think approximately. those regulations are consistently taken interior of a few context. The extra progressed we get, the extra prolonged and sophisticated our information of the regulations turns into. i think of in keeping with risk on the factor of foundation, there is a few style of actuality that's completely contradictory to our finite and constrained theory of causality. I even have resigned myself to the actuality that there are some issues we purely won't have the ability to comprehend. Ever. the place the universe is worried, i'm truthfully soft with that. The God clarification heavily isn't functional and is maximum particularly a fantasy.

I'll agree that there are some insignificant issues as to how long or by what clock and calendar. But there are significant rewards to be had from investigating the other dimensions. Keep in mind that some see the world round us as intelligently designed. Then there is the physics of wave theory that predicts up to 11 dimensions. what we don't see can see us in one of those dimensions.
Whether we wear blinders by faith or blinders by rejecting it the same ignorance results.
As to why we are here, that is probably the most important question. We build our lives on purpose. What we do whether good or bad is often the result of how we perceive our purpose in life.
It isn't about conception or heritage but about opportunity. What we have to look forward to in life.

Yes it matters, if they can prove natural selection or god creation they can in turn justify, killing the deformed, the weak and justify the that being gay is natural selection but not deformed, just use your imagination of how the powers to be could change and justify their criminal acts against humanity, cloned people would not be natural selection, they would be created. Powerful stuff here, true you don't have to concern yourself with this and enjoy your life, but knowing the truth will help us understand when they are trying to change and shape our lives.

I'm not scared of death either. I'd rather be dead and in heaven than here on earth sometimes. I like your attitude as far as not concerning yourself with things we have no control of. That's essentially how it is when you surrender yourself to God. Its like - there's nothing I can do about anything - so why worry?
Anyway- I have never seen any documentation stating that there was an argument over creation in the beginning.

Hello and the reason it matters is you live in a world that has a total death rate, your walking within your own grave now, and there is only ONE escape, now about God, of all the knowledge someone can know of all of that knowledge you don't know where to look can God live there, you are designed by someone because even man with all his so called smarts has understood your just to complex to have evolved, and we have a example of what The Father is Like what God is like, Jesus said of Himself John14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Show us the Father? and in Hebrews 13:8 we understand Jesus has always been with The Father and in John 8:58 He said of Himself HE is THE I AM of Exodus 3, Moses and the burning bush also He said in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

In this material world, every living entity desires some future happiness, which is exactly like a mirage in the desert. Where is water in the desert, or, in other words, where is happiness in this material world? As for this body, what is its value? It is merely a source of various diseases.
In search of truth we become deviated and, taking shelter of the boat of the material body and mind, travel aimlessly in the ocean of material existence, with no land in sight. Mercilessly tossed about. If only we knew what is our ultimate destination.
This is illusion. Everyone is trying to become happy with society, friendship and love, children, wife, friends, money and house and land. Therefore when Krishna says, in Bhagavad gita, duhkhälayam asäsvatam: [Bg. 8.15] "This whole material world is a place for suffering only," that is a fact. But being enamored by mäyä(illusion), we do not know. We forget. This life is of forgetfulness, ignorance.
So struggle is going on. So therefore this word is used, that you are struggling in this material world so much, even beginning from your life. Prahläda Mahäräja says, sadä samudvigna-dhiyäm asad-grahät [SB 7.5.5]. Asat. The spiritual world is called sat. So we should transfer ourself to the spiritual world. Asato mä sad gama. This is the Vedic injunction. "Don't keep yourself in this asat." Asat means bad. Asat means which will not exist. That is called asat. So because we have accepted this asat, with very great eagerness, that "We shall become very happy; we shall live here very happily," Actually there is no happiness. Suppose if you get some money all of a sudden, actually this is also asat, because when you did not get money, you were anxious to get it, and as soon as you get it, how to preserve it? "Shall I keep it in the bank? Because it is black market. Then there will be income tax. Then what I shall I do?" Another anxiety.
So asad-vastu, in any way you want to enjoy, it will give you always anxiety. And If you go to sat, then that is Vaikuntha(the spiritual world). That is called Vaikuntha, no more anxiety. This mäyä(illusion) is affection and being attracted to the glaring of this material world. This is the conception of material illusion only.
We are making good arrangement to live peacefully, and we shall live peacefully." Where is peace? You have to die. You don't want to die; you have to die. You don't want disease; you must suffer from disease. You don't want to become old man; you must become old man. So where is your happiness? This is all foolishness.
The intelligent man is always pessimistic, that "First of all let us become secure," that we are trying to adjust this material position to become happy. But who is going to allow us to become happy here? This is pessimistic view. And then further advancement of knowledge is there, and when he understands the orders the orders of Krishna, sarva-dharmän parityajya mäm ekam saranam vraja [Bg. 18.66], to surrender to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and after surrendering and understanding Him fully, then we go to the world which is full of bliss, knowledge and eternal life, tyaktvä dehah punar janma naiti mäm eti kaunteya. That is perfection of life.

I agree with you in that understanding one's existance is not necessary to survival. If those questions don't weigh on your mind at all then I say more power to you. Personally I am extremely interested in the origins of me and the true nature of the Universe in which I live and have no intention whatsoever in ceasing my pursuit of these truths.

We explore these matters to form our world view. Our world view determines how we value other people. To believe we were created by an awesome God makes us very valuable as a human being. To believe we evolved from pond water means we are just pond scum. It's easy to abort pond scum, or to shoot someone if they are not created by God.
