Sweetie, you mom just loves you and is trying to help you get through your teen years...
You don't really say what makes it so hard to live with your mom... so that is my best guess... she's will you on a daily basis so has to be "The One" that sees that you do what you are supposed to do... She "The One" that has to do the parenting...
While your dad has the luxury of not "having" to participate in parenting... he can be the good guy when you do get to see you and do all the fun things to spoil you...

How old are you? Go get a job and move out if your over 18. If not, than you need to be with the parent who is actually a parent and not a friend. I tried living with my dad and I lasted two months ...he was more of a friend than a parent. And than when he tried being a parent he would piss me off, you just gotta live and learn. Try your dad for a little while if you dont like it , go back with your mom.

I don't know what is right for you, but keep in mind that even if your dad seems like the better choice right now, he'll probably be a much different parent when you are actually living with him. Have you tried just talking to your mom? I'd suggest you stay with her since it was already decided that's where you were better off. Good luck. ^_^

maybe you could live with the two of them. A week each and see how that works. Sometimes the change might do you good thats if your dad dont mind. I know its a hard situation to be in. I am the mother of two boys and my husband and I are divorced. It was very hard on the boys but they decided to live with me and visit their father. Its been tought all around and I am not going to tell you it is going to be easy but try to communicate with both of them and tell them how your feeling.

You mom, I am sure loves you very much. I am sure she is not giving you hard problems, she only wants the best for you. You should probably live with your Mom. Nothing, against Dad. But, I believe girls should live with their Mothers.

I had the same problem almost, depending on your age and state laws, and grades and whatever if you work hard and get a job and a place all together emancipation? It's kind of hard to answer your question when i don't know what your parents are like. You gotta decide hun!Which one do you think ud get along with better?

well there's a couple of things you could do. you could try explaining things to them and tell them how you feel and maybe one of them will change and you choose them. you could try moving in w/ ur dad, try something new and see how it goes. im not even going to list your mom because its clear you dont want to be there. or if your really desprate ask your parents if you could live with your grandparents and explan to them why.

I would say stay with mom, your dad may be laid back, but it could hurt you in the long run. Mom may be difficult, but if you stick with it, you'll grow for the better.
