Last summer one of my goldens got stung twice on his nose. He itched for 24 hours then he was fine. I think it would be best to still give your dog the benadryl for the rest of tonight and tomorrow too.
Poor dog that really hurts.

I think 24-48 hours is fairly normal. If shes already been to the vet then you don't have to worry too much. The vet would have been sure to check her for alergic reactions. just make sure she's not rubbing it too much on anything and making her nose raw. If it looks like shes doing damage to herself, try and see if the Vet has a cone collar you can put on her to keep her safe till swelling/itchyness is gone.
Those are always good to have anyway, and its probably a purchase worth making.

I would say about 24 hrs. Keep giving the benadryl like your vet directed and the dog should be fine and the itchiness should subside soon.

It'll take a few days. But what have we learned? That your lab isn't allergic to insect stings. You have added benadryl to your medicine cabinet and you know the correct dosage for the weight of your dog, right? You are now prepared for any future bites.

I've used a solution of baking soda and water which seems to help soothe the itch - perhaps put that on. Your girl should be better by tomorrow.
