Mountain Bicycle riding around the Tempe, AZ area?

Were is a good place to meet Mountain bicyclers around the Tempe, AZ area? I'm new to Mountain cycling and looking for a good place to ride and meet others near me. It doesn't have to be just Mountain biking either. Any information would be great! Thanks

I don't know, but why don't you visit Mtbr.com forums? They have regional sections, and usually people there are quite friendly and can hook you up on some trails or group rides (even when groups are just 3 people)...
