she needs to see a doctor. she is losing lots of fluids and will become dehydrated very quickly. the rash is from her diapers, change them very frequently and powder her bottom. also buy some desitin.

she could have a diaper rash due to the diarrhea. Try an OTC diaper rash cream. If it doesn't seem to be getting better in a few days then it might be a yeast infection and it will need a prescription. If the diarrhea does not improve she will need to go to the dr or ER if she gets lethargic. Give her pedialyte in her bottle to help keep her hydrated. Hope she gets better soon.

it could be due to the teething. if she is eating and drinking okay and is playing, i would doubt it's the flu but it's possible.you really need to keep her hydrated. she's very young. take it easy on her food intake. small amounts of rice cereal should help. milk isn't a great thing at this time but since she is so young, you can't really get rid of that. you could give her some pedialyte too.use some desitin for the rash and dab her off when she's dirty, don't wipe. if it lasts more than 24 hrs w/o a break, contact her doc. the most important thing is hydration.

When in doubt with an infant, doctor is always the best bet. Diarrhea can been very bad for young children. Get her plenty of fluids and watch her temp. Teething couldn't have been that fun or I probably would remember it myself :-) . So maybe something to help with fever, swelling and pain, your local pharmacy or her doctor shouldn't have a problem recomending something for you as well as keeping him in the loop so if something is wrong he's aware of whatever measures you've taken to treat this.... Quick and educated is what I recomend. Goodluck. Best regards to your little girl!

Her diaper rash is made worse by teething, because of the increase in acids.
I used to use Zincofax on my babies' diaper rash.
Change her diapers quickly and frequently.
Expose her bare bottom to sunlight and air; it helps the rash to heal and makes the skin healthier.
For now, try to find some good diaper rash cream to help the baby over this trying time; it's painful for the baby and hard on you to deal with a baby who feels miserable.

change diaper brand and use plenty of desitin cream. Teething can cause diarrhea too. I would still call the doc because she's still just a little thing.

You need to use A&D Ointment or some baby rash ointment. And try to keep her diaper as dry as possible. The rash probably hurts when she pees.

Ok, do you leave by the woods? Maybe poisen avy. And maybe she might be Allergic to the disposable diapers. My older brother was, and had to be put into cloth diapers. Hopefully that doesn't happen to your child!!!! (And teething just means that new teeth are coming in, and it hurts so she justs bites. oh, and give her green bell peppers to chew on. It helps alot on teething!)
