Yeah I've heard fruits and vegetables make your hair really shiny. Basically if you eat healthy, every part of you is healthy - skin, hair, etc.

It's very true, have you seen people's hair when they are unhealthy. Not only does it affect your health but, it also affects you beauty. Some things that do help your hair is fish (which also helps to prevent hair loss) and some different fruits. Eating healthy will also save you a lot of money on hair products!!! :)

Of course it's true! If you eat the right amount of fruits and vegetables daily, you should have long, shiny flowing hair in no time. Guaranteed.

Well that's part of the equation. You have to keep it clean and conditioned as well. Drinking lots of water helps too. (6 to 8 glasses a day)

Partly... your hair is protein, so if you eat things high with protein (fish, nuts, eggs, etc) your hair might tend to grow stronger, and faster... but that really depends on the person.
But, a bad diet effects it even more. People who smoke, have eating disorders, are on drugs, etc... tend to have very unhealthy hair.
