Boston to NYC is easy.. It's part of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor, which is electrified and so the the trains run pretty fast.

Take Amtrak's new high-speed Acela Express train. About 2 hours from Boston to NYC's Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan.

Go to Amtrak's website: http://www.amtrak.com for reservations.

Good luck and enjoy the ride!

Amtrak from New York Penn Station.
Go to the Amtrak web page for the pricing and schedule.
In addition summer is here and Amtrak will discount certain fares.
Check the papers for this one.

To get the best answer is to call the train station for that and you will likely have to do that anyway. Good Luck and GOD Bless

Look at www.amtrak.com and you'll find all the answers you need, plus schedule times, intermediate stops and anything else your little heart desires.

Personally, I prefer to fly that route as it only takes about an hour give or take a few minutes...
