Haha, you must be so excited.
In a boyfriend I must have:
1) Good looks - it sounds shallow but I'm being 100% honest. You don't have to be drop-dead gorgeous or anything, but at least attractive
2) Sense of humor - you have GOT to make me laugh and if months later I'm still laughing at something you did or said, well, my heart is yours
3) Talkative - I don't mean someone who just rambles on and on about stuff. I mean someone who can tell a really good story. Someone who can recount everything that happened to them from 8:00am-8:45am in the morning and make it super interesting. Someone who can hold an intelligent conversation and likes to talk to me (I'm talkative, it's just me) and we never run out of things to talk about
4) Must be able to listen - Haha, I feel like I'm sending out Boyfriend Applications. Anyway, you've got to be able to listen and remember things I said. Like, if I said to my boyfriend, "I really want this skirt from Bloomingdales" and I showed him a picture and then two weeks later I was wearing it, it would be very nice to have him say, "Hey, you got the skirt that you wanted." Shows he's interested and will remember things - like my birthday!
Hope that helps.

What are the qualities that you are looking for in a guy should be the same qualities that a guy would be looking for in you. Someone who is kind, sensitive, caring, thoughtful, considerate of your needs, allows you to choose and have a say in things, is considerate of your wishes, is thoughtful to your parents and other family members. This guy should be one who has a sense of humor, is fun to be around, shares in similar values, interests and beliefs as you do. Looks should be on the list, but they do not need to be at the top. Looks change over time and become less and less important as you grow old together.

Most healthy boyfriend/girlfriend relationships are rooted deeply in friendship. Your friends are your friends because you share interests and ideas and you can trust them. Same thing with a romantic relationship. Whatever you do, take your time, enjoy, try not to get too serious too quickly, and always be honest with the person you're dating. Lies and deception have a way of coming back around and hurting you both in the end. Good luck and have fun!

Honesty is the main thing and next is personality.Pay attention to how they treat others if its in a rude manner or if its respectful. This will tell you alot about how you will be treated.

try to find some one with similar interests as you but not everything in common or you'll be dating yourself which can be very boring.
