Actually the saints and spiritual masters do not seek after joy or peace for themselves they are only looking to serve God no matte what the cost of their own happiness. But for me I seek after it sometimes. Peace to all which comes from loving God.

I would say I'm feeling Joy. Happiness seems like you can only be happy for a little while and for a reason. Joy seems to be more free and content.

I am nothing spiritually. I don't have time for this frivolity.
I respect karma and know that it is real. But I don't think joy or happiness is a choice. It's not like there is a menu out there offering it as a option. I think it can be found but definitely not chosen.

I choose Joy for a person can be joyous in the pits of hell where as with happiness is only temporary based upon external conditions.
