I understand that fear but I know that when the time comes my family will be with me and there will be those who greet me.

No I havent thought about dying alone, as you will never know when life can end.
I think maybe dying in general whatever the circumstances is not nice and frightening to me.
I just hope it will be quick as the suffering in pain is extremely frightening - maybe I have seen too much Holby City!

No.
Nor did I worry about being born alone.
So do you prefer to die in a crowd? a large tragedy? mass slaughter or mass suicide? kool-aid party?
Smoking or non smoking section? with or without pets? Do others have to die with you? will that be aparty of two?
Siamese Twins, pregnant women, and peple with tapeworms are the only people with the certain luxury of dying alone.

No. I only worry about my grandchildren needing me and my having no idea that they're even in trouble. One got separated from me in the theater yesterday morning when I took them to see Shrek the Third. When we found each other, he was in tears. "I thought you'd left me," he cried. "That's one thing you'll never have to worry about," I said. "You'll never be left behind, and if you ever get lost, I'll find you. I won't stop looking until I find you." My greatest fear is that something will prevent me from keeping that promise.

funny you should ask that,on Friday of this week my auntie, died of a heart attack, on her own in her own flat, and was when she never turned up for work Friday morning, the home she worked at phoned her daughter up and asked her to go and see if she was ok, but when my cousin walked in the front room,my auntie was laying face down on the floor,it was a shook for my cousin to see her mam like that, she had been there on her own all night long, but now thinking about the way she went she never suffered,no long illness did we after sit though with her,but its not saying goodbye to her that really has got to alot of the family, but when your time is up its up,even if there is someone with you or you are on your own,its nothing to be frightened off,we all know it is going to come to us all one day.some sooner than others.

No. the Lord has promised to be with me always. So even if I'm physically alone, I know there are still angels all around me.

Nope...I would prefer to die alone. I'm not much of a people person, so it'd be fine with me.
I do fear suffication/drowning. That would be a scary way to die in my opinion.

Without God, this is the only option really.
When we die, our soul leaves our physical bodies. Even if someone were to die at the exact moment as you, well, they journey into the unknown of "death" is theirs. " ..
"1 A psalm of David. 2 The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. In green pastures you let me graze; to safe waters you lead me; you restore my strength. You guide me along the right path for the sake of your name. Even when I walk through a dark valley, I fear no harm for you are at my side; your rod and staff give me courage. You set a table before me as my enemies watch; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Only goodness and love will pursue me all the days of my life; I will dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come"
God is the only one who will be there to help you. Honestly ... that's why It's good to get to know Him NOW.

its understandable.
i know a lady who died (god rest her soul in paece), and her nine sons were around her, with a bunch of grand children, she was my neighbour. she was saying she feels like a queen. all her sons by the way lived in different countries and they all came to see her... it was wriiten for her by god.
moral of the stroy, if u become a good mother/father, have good kids that u raise up to be obedient and loving children, u shall not worry about that... god will do that for u.
and plus, always be there for ur parents, so that ur kids will be there for u, trust me nothing else works.

I wasn't really planning on taking anyone with me when my time comes, I think volunteers would be a bit few and far between as well.
Death is quite a personal experience I think, and I would prefer to be on my own whilst experiencing it.
