find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

It not all about what you eat. its about the amount of attention you give your body. exercise, diet, and patience is the key in losing weight.

try this:
30-40 minutes of aerobic exercises 3-4 times a week.
stay away from fatty food like chips and hot pockets or anything like that. eat something like chicken Caesar salad with an apple or something.
EAT BREAKFAST. Key meal of the day. gives your body energy.
don't eat 2 hours before you go to bed, your body works off fats and proteins while you body is moving not while your sleeping.
only eat until your satisfied not till your full.
only eat 3 times a day no more. if becoming hungry, grab a piece of sugar-free gum. should help.
stay active, instead of sitting on the couch watching TV, go play with your pets or take a walk around the block.
if you want to lose weight many habits are gonna have to change.
If you want to keep weight off, don't go back to the habits you had, you'll gain that weight back faster than you can blink.

this worked for me.
hope it helps.

Healthy, low calorie foods like fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken breast, egg whites and oatmeal for breakfast

Avoid soda and juices high in calories....instead try to drink a lot of water (personally, i'm not a big fan of water so i add Crystal Light to a bottle and it tastes like juice but it only has 10 calories)

Also, try to exercise 3-5 days a week....30-60 minutes of cardio+ a little weight training

Good luck!

to lose 15 pounds will take a very long time so dont feel bad in a few weeks if u only lose one or two pounds.but you should eat yoplait yogurt at noon/lunch time instead of eating lunch, you should try a cheap eating program, and few calorie foods try going on a 500 calorie diet it helps.

The high protein, low carb, diet worked for me - I went from around 205 to 170 in about 5 months.

I also exercised regulary.

2 points: (1) Every body is different - what works for mine may not work for yours; and, (2) Its all about self discipline - its not a diet, its a lifestyle change overall.

Good luck!
