For the past 3 weeks or so I've had a red rash on the bend in my elbow on the inside of my arm. I woke up one morning and there were a few bumps that appeared to be poison ivy or something. I shrugged it off because I'm always getting odd rashes. The bumps never itched and within a day or so faded into a muted red rash. They were no longer individual bumps but more of an entire raised area with faint individual bumps. Since then the rash has SLOWLY spread from about 1/2 inch on one side of the crease of my elbow to about 2 inches spanning both sides of the crease. It still does not itch and is definitely not spreading at a fast rate. It is not weeping, not painful, or have any type of open sore. I went to the doctor and she didn't know what it was. She gave me an anti-fungal steriod cream that didn't help and an antibacterial ointment used to treat impetigo and it has not helped. Before I go back, does anyone have any ideas what this could be? I've looked online for hours with no luck.

No, I don't know what it is, but I had both of my elbows turn completely raw (they never hurt, just looked horrible). I was prescribed 5 different and very expensive types of creams that would never clear them up. I read about the wonders of Emu Oil (available at Health Food Stores and online). It cleared it up completely in ine week. This has been awesome for any kind of cuts, abrasion, burns, etc. on our skin. Find that and even though it's kinda pricey, it's worth every penny. A tiny amount goes a long long way. Ny bottle will last forever, and I use it all the time (my kids and husband do too). Sure hope this takes care of yours too! Best of luck!
