you need to put the chick and egg into the nest and take the nest to the tree it fell from. out it back and go inside. watch for parents, they will come eventually if they never come (i doubt that) then call your local wildlife center!

That happened to me once, a storm blew the nest and the Baby bird out. I put the nest back in the tree and secured it with lots of string and put the Baby back in. We watched and the Mom DID come back and raise the Baby. So, I advise that if u don't know exactly where it was origionaly, just find a branch with a fork in it, that will hold the nest. Tie it on there and put the baby and egg back in. Mom will come back. Make sure that it is tied on securely, then leave it alone. Thats the best u can do.

If you can, put the nest back in the tree. If you can't do that, take the whole nest inside and put it into a basket lined with paper towels, then call your local wildlife rehabilitater. He or she is certified by your state to properly care for and eventually release wild animals like your little bird. Good luck!

Put the nest back in the tree as high up as you can. The parents will still take care of them even after you've touched it.

Leave it or the mother will look for it. It's like you lost your baby girl or boy!
