for breakfast I had a granola bar
for lunch i had a salad
for dinner i had chicken
i drank plenty of water and I exercised burning about 500 calories

For a short time you can get away with this.

How ever over the long term it's not that healthy. You need to add some protein both at breakfast and lunch. Some veggies for supper.

A healthy snake in between.

No, you are not starving yourself. But here is a little tip on how you can make your diet better and healthier. First of all I think for breakfast you should eat something a little more than 1 granola bar. Try eating Kelloggs Special K. Cereal. Look for the box that says lose 6 lbs. in 2 weeks. Thats better. And as for dinner Eat some salad and about 5 tablespoons of rice. And try not to eat any midnight snacks.

well it depends, most likely you won't be able to stick to that (well anyone that is) it's not very satisfying, which in turn will lead to an overeating which will lead to weight gain. Try snacking on fat free yogurt, fruit and veggies all throughout the day to keep your metabolism working. You can eat some rice with your chicken? and maybe put some chicken or healthy meat in your salad to add some extra satification.

The key to a diet is to slowly ween your body to a lesser amount of food. That way your stomach will not notice the difference and slowly get smaller :) Therefore you will eventually become full quicker!

Um yes, because you had about 1000 calories whereas you need 1200 calories, but don't worry about that today.

If you don't eat enough, you can develop an eating disorder (which you have probably heard billions of times) and 1 in 10 people with anoerexia die. That is a little out there though.

Also, to diet successfully, you need to eat enough to keep your body functioning, so you need more veggies and fruits. Your metabolism will drop if you don't eat enough anyways.

it sounds like you are starving yourself, that doesnt seem to be enough calories. the daily recommendation is 2000 calories a day but if you are trying to lose some people go anywhere between 1500 - 1800 and lose weight safely. You might want to add on some veggies and even fruit to your diet.

You should eat about 1200 calories a day. If you eat to little, your body slows down your metabolism to conserve energy and it's harder to lose weight. It doesn't look like you are eating enough. Eat a little more and you will lose weight easier. The key is to graze all day. Eat small meals. Add some dairy and fruits.

I don't think that you're starving yourself but you should eat at least 1,200 calories a day and don't over exercise. I think you should eat a little more because it's not healthy to under eat. Your body needs food to function if you don't eat enough than your putting your body in danger.

It's possible. What is your wieght? If you feel very hungry, then what happens is that your metabolism will slow down, causing your body to go into starvation mode. Once you resume eating regularly, your body will store almost all the calories as fat.

Maybe for breakfast you should add an piece of fruit and yogurt maybe add some vitamins in there other than that I think ur fine!!

no thats fine listen to you're body if you're hungry eat - but dont pig out eat a little and see how you feel but don't starve you're self!!
