Ok, if you haven't scratched it open (as in made a sore), and its just a red bump, cover it with clear fingernail polish, it will keep you from scratching it, and in a few days it will go away. If it is scratched then clean it with rubbing alcohol ( it will burn probably), or maybe hydrogen peroxide (which won't burn most likely but will not be as effective), and put neosporin on it to make it heal. It should heal in a few days if you do these things often. And either way, put a band-aid over it to keep you from scratching it and help it stay clean.

I would go to the drugstore and buy "Bag Balm". It comes in a small green can and is a ointment for skin problems. Work great for people and for animals too.

I was bitten by a mozzy in turkey and told by one of the local people to wash the bite with urine (your own i would suggest)
