Cut out any soda. Only water. 64 ounces at least.
Cut out all candy. Eat good foods like vegetables and fruits!
go to myfoodpyramid.gov to see what all you need. when it asks for your weight put in what your goal weight is.
and most important EXERCISE! No one likes to do it, but its a must! Do cardio ( running and walking) and exercises specifically for your problem areas.
Its not healthy to lose alot of weight that fast! But if you eat healthy and exercise you'll be slimmer and feeling better about yourself!
Sunless tanners also make you appear slimmer! :D
I hope this helps and be careful!

That's not really possible. That is 50 lbs and at most you should only be losing 2 lbs/week. However, there isn't any reason that you couldn't easily lose at least 25 lbs by the time August rolls around. Watch what you eat. Eat more fruits and veggies. Also start some kind of exercising. Walk around the block a few times or get up in the morning and go for a run. Good luck to you!

You have the same weight and age as my brother! Run, play sports, use a treadmill, and drink a lot of water and eat apples to suppress hunger! Although I think 120 is a bit drastic! Set more realistic goals, so that you are not disapointed, and so that you don't hurt yourself of starve yourself! Also, don't take weight loss pills, as they can be dangerous, and don't over exercise. If you have the self control to exercise (not necessarily weight lifting but running), eat less, but not too much less, and stop watching so much tv and playing video games, than you'll get there, I promise. Stay hydrated over the summer! Good luck! i will be doing the same thing with my brother. I'm 5'9" and 130 pounds so I'm trying to gain weight! Also, don't become anorexic, and walk or run to places nearby that you would normally drive to, unless its a very public or a formal place, as you don't want to be sweaty! Good luck again! Also, please tell me your height so that I can determine your healthy weight, and also, email me your progress from time to time. If you get stuck and stop losing weight, email me and I'll try to help! By the way, weightwatchers accepts children your age, i think, so if your mom or dad is overweight, you guys can go together! Finally, don't try other diets, as they can be bad for you. Weight watchers simply helps you eat less.Remember to email me! Bye, and good luck again!

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

well i think you should dedicade this summer to lose weight. i think you should run a mile every day or run a distance and maybe eat healthier. what ever you do DO NOT lose the weight unhealthy by starving your self. First of all it can get addicting.Second you will be alot weaker. And third it can hurt you emotionally. i don't think you need to lose that much weight in the first place. maybe just like 10 pounds to boost your confidence

Go outside and play. Ride a bike, swim, hike, play outdoor games like tag. just get out of the house and not sit around watching TV and playing PS2. :-) If you already do I don't know what else to tell you. I can't give a 13 year old a diet.

The only healthy way to do this, is to exercise more, and try to eat healthier foods (no fast foods, or eating out), and control your portions. 1-2lbs/week is a healthy rate to do this. Do NOT try to lose anymore that this, otherwise 1. you'll gain it all back when you start eating regularly again, and 2. it's not healthy, especially at your age.
