I am a young female and I am working my *** of every day trying to catch up on reading material, volunteering, writing, family, etc..-The norm I suppose. Yes, I often go to bed way over the time I should, but not always.
Even during my time off, days when I go to bed at 8 and get up past noon, eat well, exercise, I am constantly tired. This is like an ongoing symptom with me: Daily, I am anxious, bothered by slightly cold weather, and tired.
This doesn't happen absolutely every day but most of the time I am living. As far as I know, I am pretty healthy otherwise and do not take any medication.
What is this?
Life?

Haha, I see Jules, you running the welcome wagon too? No, I am certainly NOT pregnant and if I believed it was something serious enough for a doctor I wouldn't be asking.

stress, maybe improper diet. are you getting enough iron? and there's the question about sleep. you should go to bed on time. and waking very late as a way to catch up on weekend is a no- no. it actually makes u even more tired when you sleep too much. it's best to just take a nap during the day. also, make sure you go out everyday and breathe some fresh air, literally. beeing cooped inside all day can make you unusaually tired and drosy and a bit sluggish.

It may be due to an iron deficiency. Not a big problem you can either take vitamines or try to eat more foods that have a good source of iron. This is only a suggestion, however you should probably get to your doctor for a professional opinion. Good Luck!

there can be a number of reasons for severe and ongoing fatigue, most often in someone like yourself, it's because you do not take the down time you need and there is no catching up on sleep or relaxation....you need to take a long hard look at the things you pile on your plate and cut down.

Time for a full check up with your primary care doctor! Lots of things can cause fatigue--low thyroid, low iron, just to name two. But you really need to be checked out.

It seems to me that you are doing way to much. Perhaps you are suffering from depression. It could be any number of things, but I agree with Jules. You need to see a DR.

reading material, volunteering, writing, family = all seems stressful. you might also be anemic, go to the dr. sometimes symptoms of anemia lead to always feeling tired

I'm sorry, but this is my pet peeve. Asking for medical advice on Yahoo is insane!!! GO TO A DOCTOR or other healthcare professional.
It may be nothing, just stress. But the list of things it COULD (chronic fatigue syndrome, anemia, flu, pregnancy, etc.) be means a trip to the doctors is a good idea.
And please, please please, dont come to Yahoo for answers to the serious stuff. Advice on an outfit, sure... but not advice on your health.
