Your name.....your lovers name .........your dogs name? Not sure why you would be these names on the back of your neck but it doesnt mean a thing

Well I have a name tattooed on the back of my neck and one above my neck behind the ear. The names have meaning to them, but them being on my neck has no menaing to it, other than wanting it on my neck.

it means that you wanted to get a name tattooed on your neck.
tattoo placement and even the things that people get tattooed on them do not have a set "meaning". just like it doesn't "mean" anything if a guy has a certain ear pierced or anything. that's just ridiculous. people get what they get because they want to.

My husband has my name tattooed on his neck. He said he did it to show his lifelong dedication to me.
