Well, I don't know about you, but I knew this chick that rationalized everything in Revelation to something we'd find in the world now. It was freaky wierd.

The Bible didn't mention inventions that were going to occur way in the future. You don't find mention of microwaves, DVD players or even refrigeration in there either. The things He told of were things that were to come to all mankind. He made that promise not to flood the entire Earth again, so we are going by fire next time.
Did Satan influence us to invent the net? I don't think so. It can be used for much good, though some use it for bad. But God didn't cover inventions, that is, except his first 6 days of work, ie. the Heavens, the Earth, animals, plants. After that God left us on our own to invent things. We haven't always done well, like nuclear weapons. But he never told us what we were going to invent.

Hmm... should've been included in Revelations. Must be Satanic then. That talking snake sure is trying to pull the wool over our eyes these days, isn't it? Damn you, Satan, damn you!!!

Wait a minute. I love the internet. So what does this mean? Hmm... maybe hell is the place to go after all.

Isaiah talks about Nuclear War, Jet Airplanes, Internet and Cities that never sleep at night (New York City because everybody's up on the internet all night.)

It's just like when Satan went back in time and wrote all those Pagan myths that are exactly like the jesus story. It's Diabolic Plagerism. Or in this case, Diabolic Editing.
That's the ticket.

The Internet hadn't been invented at the time the books of the Bible were written.

Perhaps God didn't feel obligated to provide an inventory of the future. He got hung up on that whole "faith thing" which, by the way is far more fullfilling that consulting psychics or constanty questioning every little thing in your world.

Well... I have heard that all of the fibreoptic trunks on the internet use a modulation of 666 to transmit data. So perhaps it is.
