If you are a U.S. citizen, there are many possibilities. If you are not a citizen, it is nearly impossible.
The starting place for loans and grants is the FAFSA website.
To fill out the forms you will need copies of your parents most recent tax returns. If you are independent of your parents, you will need your own 2006 return. Be sure that you claimed yourself, not a dependent on someone else's tax return, if you are going to say you have no one else to help provide money for college. You will hear from the FAFSA site in 7-10 days, this will let you know what kind of financial aid you will qualify for. Any college you apply to will ask for your FAFSA paperwork.
Some of the other answers have the acronym wrong, it is FAFSA--I promise.

fill out a FASFA application, this can be done online. this is basically a form that you give the gov. your income info and based on how little you make, it determines how much in grant money you get. grants do not get paid back.
also go to the college you are applying for stop at the financial aide office and get started. there are so many student loans that you can get that you dont pay back till after you graduate. good luck, dont let money stand in the way of you getting an education

Pick a college, fill out financial papers that you can get from the school or library. There are grants(which don't have to be payed back) There are loans that you don't pay until after you graduate. there are work study programs . If you want it it is there. Call up your schoolof choice and they will help.

Pell grants. Pell grants probably won't cover your whole tuition if you go to a 4 year college though. You can also get student loans, but you'll have to pay them back after school. .
