Wow, you get a star for even trying a question like this. Lots of christians wouldn't dream of messing with the canon. That you can think about it critically rocks my world.
I would toss our Revelation I think. Also 1n2 Peter. Some of the minor prophet books don't seem to have much of a point. I think you make an excellent point tieh Ezra-Neh too.
I forget the name of the book, but the one where the prophets wife is a whore? That whole book is just bad.
Oh! And the book of Job. Horrible moral lesson imho. I should shut up now because I'm just going to keep going... :)
(Edit) I'm sorry. They're giving you that "Every book is perfect" even though they probably haven't read them.
There ARE christians that can give you a reasonable response to this question. They just aren't on right now. Maybe ask again in the evening? It's a great question and if you can get some that really know the bible, I would love to watch you toss this around.

You know, I honestly believed that many of the books in the bible didn't make sense. The NT made more sense so i stuck with those, mostly... but then later i realized that the books i didn't understand had really deep meanings that didn't make so much sense to me on the surface because I wasn't picking up the lesson. I wasn't looking at it in the right way. Like the book of Job for example... (that was a big one for me). I think the story is very important now. I see that even though Job was a very righteous man, he endured great suffering. Not simply because G-d was trying to prove a point to satan or anything, but because G-d was giving Job the opportunity to excersize his humility. Because true humility is necessary for godliness and true righteousness. Sinning and repenting is one thing, but being righteous and blessed without true humility is sin. In part, this story is given in the bible to teach us this lesson.

First, peace-love, so you know ... the Bible teaches women to submit to the man as the head of the household ... in the same way you submit to your boss. You may think he's an idiot, but you still need to respect his position.
However, "submissive" does NOT mean "subservient." You're not required to be anyone's doormat.
Now ... to this question. Honestly, as Christians, we could (theoretically) remove Exodus and Leviticus. They spell out the Law, which Christians are no longer subject to.
Keep Job in there. It's a great answer to all the name-it-and-claim-it folks who think that only good things happen to those who God favors. It's also a great answer to people who think depression is nothing more than an attack by Satan. (Read it carefully! Satan took Job's *stuff.* He didn't make him shake a fist at the sky.)

I would just prefer to read the original New Testament (The Gospel of the Nazirenes) because if we have to pick and choose then it isn't the real thing. King Constantine changed the bible and added whom ever he thought fit. He omitted many years of Jesse's life and most everything to do with karma, reincarnation, vegetarianism. He made put Paul's teachings in, which Paul never even met Jesus and was a false prophet. For info google gospelofthenazirenes.com For the original teachings of Jesus, not the Old Roman Governments version.

these verses ::
Deuteronomy
Kill everyone who has religious beliefs that are different from your own. 17:2-7
God brought the Israelites out of Egypt "by war ... and by great terrors." 4:34
God commands his people to "consume all the people which the Lord thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity on them." 7:16
If your brother, son, daughter, wife, or friend tries to get you to worship another god, "thou shalt surely kill him, thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death." 13:6-10
If you have a "stubborn and rebellious son," then you and the other men in your neighborhood "shall stone him with stones that he die." 21:18-21
If a man marries, then decides that he hates his wife, he can claim she wasn't a virgin when they were married. If her father can't produce the "tokens of her virginity" (bloody sheets), then the woman is to be stoned to death at her father's doorstep. 22:13-21
Deut 22:28-29 "[28] If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, [29] he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives. (NIV).

Dear dreamed,
I would not delete anything out of the Bible because God tells us, "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." (Revelations 22:18, 19).
It is a very SERIOUS matter to alter God's words.

Interesting but I have never thought about it. Every single book of the Bible is conected in one way or the other with the others but again it is an interesting question. Never thought about it.

You must not have read the admonition in Revelation which says if you take out anything from the word of God, your part in the kingdom of heaven will also be taken out.
Heed this!
